Skills never stick, every cycle i have skill points and select stuff, but then it just resets every cycle.

I have a feeling HP Mod and this mod don't play well together.

(btw i played it on my switch!)

maybe make a power that costs some exp, but gives you crafting.

Found out that overcharging the dash does stagger you, don't do that

Simply stabbing enemies gives exp, seems op, but you can decide that. My recommendation is, if you remove it, have an option to enable it via the remix config

This is what I've learned about the skill upgrades:
Escape Artist: If stuck in a predator's mouth, spam movement keys to slowly get out.
Silent Footsteps: Self Explanatory, walking is more quiet
Dash: Press (and hold) C to charge up, let go to dash in the selected direction.
Bloodthirsty: Killing fills up food pips (4 upgrade levels)
Tough Skin: (Not so sure about) Less chance to die when bitten by a predator. (4 upgrade levels)
Sharp Teeth: Gives your scug the "Maul" ability (2 upgrade levels)

This + Spearmaster + Enemy Rando could make for an intriguing run by the future persay

It'd be nice if there was a toggleable hud element for an EXP bar and level. Overall pretty nice mod!

I downloaded this mod and added it to my world, after I died for some reason every creature except for the tiny squids that release tons of ink were removed, I went an entire cycle without my children, lizards, vultures, scavengers, or anything whatsoever, its kinda cool to go through but creepy at the same time, I'm not certain it was this mod but after my slugpups leveled up from eating and I died everything just... dissapeared (really cool idea for a mod tho lol)
