Running into some issues with the Undertonnage bonus. It's going down to 1 bonus share when we're regularly below 50% allotted tonnage.

Only conflicts I can find are Pilot Overhaul and Advanced Career start. Are these the cause of the issue?

one of qol fetaures are gone when this mod override pilotoverhaul: cant see mech affinity in pilot selection for the mech
can you fix it?

@WolfEagle1 ah okay, awesome mod regardless! I dont understand how to change load order but this was never an issue in my previous campaign last month, idk. also, are you aware of an issue causing "Deployment Readiness B/P 500,000 PENALTY" during dlc missions like Kestrel Lancers? It seems that since the missions start in X amount of days at the mission start screen, its acting as though my mechs arent ready by that time causing a massive penalty.

Sfrr, regarding the multi mission issue; things get more problematic if you use the same mech across all missions, without switching to another mech and then switching back.

why am i constantly being charged "Salvage Voucher Fees" when i never purchase any salvage vouchers or when i dont make use of this mod? what the hell. Every mission im being charged 400,000 or more in "Salvage Voucher Fees", makes no sense

i like doing the invasion contracts with just 1 light mech, so this it like a fee i charge for being a badass

also salvage voutchers are a cool idea, no more missing a headshot kgc or hgn by one point

I just encountered an issue where if you fail a mission and your bill payment happened during the mission duration which brought you into the negative, then you become stuck on the salvage screen because the game registers that you have claimed more salvage than you can afford. Even if you claim zero salvage, the continue button is greyed out. There is actually no way to advance the game. You have to alt f4 and then reload an earlier save.

@EGC, This mod's load order number needs to be higher than VB. I believe VB's is now defaulted to 99. VB use to be at a lower number when my mod came out.

I tried reaching the VB dev a couple of times to make a change to his banner - no response.

I, too, see salvage share rewards zeroed out on some multi-mission contracts. I never noticed a pattern before but will keep on eye to see if it's always #3. When it happens, I skip the salvage screen and back out to the hanger before starting the next mission. From there, I reload the last auto-save and all my shares re-appear.

Neither vonBiomes override is enough to show the purchase shares bar. Do I need to adjust the mod load order? Never had to do that manually before. To adjust the purchased shares bar, I need to disable Biomes mod, adjust the purchase shares, save, then re-enable Biomes. There's a lot of wasted space in the vonBiomes banner at the top of the negotiation screen. He could make that more condensed to fit another mod that being blocked from displaying - Planetary Conditions.

Hi there, I am seeing a pattern where in a multi-mission operation, I am getting penalties on an odd-numbered mission, while getting bonuses on even-numbered missions. (e.g. in a 4-mission MMO, missions 1 and 3 have salvage bonuses, while 2 and 4 have penalties) Is there anything I can do on my end?

@Gaming - the only way for me to figure out your issue is to have a screenshot of the Deployment Screen BEFORE you start the mission, INCLUDING how many salvage shares for EACH of negotiated, bonus, vouchers and rollover are assigned. And a screenshot of the salvage screen post mission. I haven't run into any post mission salvage bugs in my play throughs.

And it's possible YAMW may be impacting the salvage counts post mission based on how the spent & remaining salvage shares are calculated. I don't use YAMW myself so I can't test that out.

It isn't mod conflict related as I dont have anything else that affects post battle loot save for YAMW that adds mech salvage.
As for mod options, for some reason I wasnt running it and that seemed to clear up the bug where it randomly changes the cost of out of salvage purchasing. But the bug where salvage is not correctly calculated still persists (ie, very little bonus salvage or sometimes deducting all salvage).

@GamingMage - your issues seem to be mod conflict related. If you are using Coyote Missions that may be causing a problem. And do you have Mod Options installed? The default setting for Purchase Salvage Cost is x2, not x3.

Also forgot to mention that multiple reloads doesn't seem to fix the logic to get more shares.

For a specific example I did a 100 diff targeted kill mission and negotiated for 56 salvage share points, did it with one crusader, got the negative share bug then after reloading got a bonus of 4 shares. Either way something seems to be breaking the calculations for salvage shares and I have no idea what it could be because it is only a sometimes issue. (broke post up because character limit)

Just dropping this for feedback because this mod has two bugs that are... quite annoying, namely in terms of salvage shares. I would also think they stem from the same issue considering their nature. Because of this mod I have started running most missions solo or duo at most, so I expected a massive salvage share boon right? Well sometimes the game takes away ALL my salvage shares. Thankfully this is fixed by reloading the finished mission save, but if that didn't exist I would be royally pissed. But even after loading the save I would end up with like 4 bonus salvage shares, and sometimes I just get pitifully small salvage share bonuses anyway.

1--) "TimeOverhaulNoWeapon" 1.0 to a higher number than "UnderTonnageBonus2 & Purchase Salvage2"

2--) Made a contract get over-tonnage on load-out (didn't launch)

3--) Then reloaded a save and the Buy Share[ option was visible on all contract

@TAW - are you using VonBiomes? If so, is Override 2 in options unchecked? If it’s checked it will disable Vouchers on the contract negotiation screen. And Override 1 should be checked instead….if using VonBiomes. And this mod’s load order needs to be higher than VonBiomes. If you are NOT using VonBiomes, both Overrides should be UNchecked.

ok so the under tonnage works and the mission launch UI functions. But there's no Purchase salvage shares option during negotiations. In my load order this is second highest, only under Mod Options. It's overriding YAML and i don't use vonbiomnes.

DO only certain missions allow share purchases and im outta luck?
Is the purchase screen POST mission?

v5.1.1 - Added back VonBiome Banner Override setting options. There was an issue in my set-up that led me to believe the overrides would no longer work with VB. For those using one of those overrides, you will need to go back to Option Settings and turn it back on. Load order of this mod should be higher than VB.

v5.1: Added an options setting for Deployment Readiness Penalty Days. This sets the number of days before a penalty is incurred. Range is 10-20, default is now 14. Removed VonBiomes (VB) Contract banner/header override option settings given they don't work with the latest version of that mod. You have two choices: 1) Have this mod's load order higher than VB - in this case Vouchers will be visible and usable, BUT some of the display options in the VB banner will be gone. 2) Have VB's load order higher than this mod's - in this case, Vouchers will NOT be visible/usable nor will the Damage Coverage multiplier be applied, but VB's banner options/icons will be visible.

@Insane. You'd need to take a screen shot of the Deployment Screen for me to see what you are seeing. My mod doesn't apply penalties for SALVAGE. Also, POST mission, if you BUY salvage shares after Claiming all the other shares the counter will show a negative count. If that's what you are referring to, that's how the mod is designed. That's not a penalty, it's just showing how many shares you BOUGHT. Look over the screen shots carefully.

I use YAML (and 72 other mods) and this with no problem. I always get my undertonnage and first day bonus.

That's a really nice idea. I've one a lot of raids solo with a 30 ton Hero Spider, hit 'n run style, but never got a bonus for it. Cool stuff, cheers :crashthumbsup:

oh, I just changed the settings again and it fixed it in the way that I am now able to click the - button to bring salvage vouncer down from 50 to 1. In the past, that option was not availabel.

Yes, I have Mod Options and regardless of how I change the settings, I always end up with a default 50 salvage vouchers. The loading order is mostly determined by the mod author? I dun see an option to change that.

GREAT MOD! This mod makes my game fun again. However, after a few days of playing this mod, suddenly I am getting 50 salvage vouchers by default for 10 million for all contracts with no way to change it... is there a way to fix this please?

V5.0 posted - adds a Bonus or Penalty (B/P) based on the number of days before your Lance can be deployed for a mission. See description for details. Adds a new Option Settings to cap the total number of BONUS salvage shares that COULD be awarded.

The salvage shares bonus cap was added per user request. Range is 1-150 with a default setting of 100.

I added Deployment Readiness Bonus/Penalty based on my play style. I have a self imposed active Pilot Roster limit of 6. This forces me to manage my pilots carefully and I wanted an incentive for keeping enough Pilots healthy BEFORE a mission starts. Likewise, when I confirm a contract/mission I have a self-imposed rule that I can't bring a mech out of Cold Storage after the mission is accepted. This forces me to manage my active bay Mechs accordingly. So, ideally I will have a lance ready to deploy within 5 days of a contract being accepted. If I do, I get a Deployment bonus. If its greater than 10 days I get a penalty. This feature can be disabled in Settings.
