Hangzhou still exports to the Silk Road. Trade can leave the country still, just not when it gets to Beijing

though that change may help for fun playing in asia, european countries may still steer trade to europe if they reach that nodes first, and asian nations to asian nodes if they reach first (now only philipinnes may reach nippon through polynesian triangle)

Might be an interesting idea I'll look into

I didn't want to do a super massive rework since I know the vanilla idea is that Trade comes from exporting regions of the world and eventually makes it way to Europe. Making more trade zones push trade towards Europe and China at the same time would have pretty big balance consequences on the game. Hoping EU5 makes the connections between trade regions more dynamic than it is currently.

maybe some more modification of asian trade? f.e. ability to move trade from moluccas and philipinnes to nippon

More incentive to take Beijing as them. I mean historically speaking it's not like horde nations were massive economies with open trade. You gotta conquer to make money as them.
