i got over 2k hours in the game and i only play scenarios so thanks for the salute haha but yeah i definitely learned a few things over those few hours :P
i immediately bought a tile to the right and up to get near the water where the road is north east i build a few disaster response units there a large helicopter depot of each and a pumping station so those buildings are mostly safe from tsunamis. In the meantime i immediately started rezoning stuff to higher density and putting offices in empty areas. also started building blimps to avoid a time crunch at the end instead of waiting for an airport then trying to get passengers in and out via plane and possibly losing due to that with blimps i got the air plane goal quick.
