After a extensive playthrough in multiplayer some months ago, I noticed some minor issues with my mod. Despite being minor, the way I wrote this mod, I lack knowledge and therefore would need to read and study to check how to fix it.
Firtsly, I'll try to fix the mod the way it is, but if that proves too gruesome, I plan on rewriting the mod using DarkSlayerEX Item API, since its easier to tweak it, but first I need to test if won't break save games.
Yeah, unfortunately when there is only a jacket over a vest with spongie's mod this seems to happen.
I studied spongies mod to try to make it compatible with mine, but spongie's uses a custom bulletproof vest model. It's a little larger than the vanilla one. My mod does not add any custom model, so when working in tandem with open jackets it uses spongie's larger model instead.
Attached is an example image: https://imgur.com/a/D7l4cUe
Keep up the good work :D
If not, then some mod seems to be in conflict with my mod. :/
I tested on vanilla and a saved game with +100 mods and it was running fine.
Thanks for the feedback!
Basically, every time you load into the game, the wear option resets and makes this weird clipping appearance on the vest. So what I've been doing each time I continue a save file is unequip the vest and select wear under the jacket and sweater option and this will fix it but again once you quit the game and load back in, it resets and you need to keep doing it.
I didn't test it on other jackets but I rock the long leather coat if that info is relevant. Also, the only other mod I run that alters clothing appearance is darker leather patches.. I didn't test to see whether it still clips without that mod being active though.
Hope to see a fix on this as I do enjoy being able to hide the vest but it's slightly inconvenient to unequip and reequip every time I load the game.
I like this mod because the original unmodded vanilla setting is weird. Who wears a bulletproof vest over a jacket? Hahaha. Again, thank you and keep up the good work!
Client-side is working properly, however, you should see some clippings in your friend's clothing. I'm trying to find a way to sync setHideModel to server so it works 100%. Sadly, now it doesn't let you hide under shirts.
This being the case I'll let this mod as it is and see if I can install blender or something to see what can I do.
