yep, the map is great, everything's good and it looks as fantastic as ever
but can you please add the texture right in front of the big gates back? there's kinda none and I see the skybox through it
Oh and there's also just floating things that should hold the second big gates, which are next to the ashore ship, but they don't and have no texture on their down
it's like this on the original map as well, but it would be nice to see it fixed

First of all, chopper, gunship and dropship uses path_track\corner to fly across the map, you can't just assign NPCs to them whenever you spawn them trough spawnmenu, so the only way to fix it is to code some script (gm_construct has lua_run entity in it, to check when heli NPCs spawns). but still, i could try to do this, but i'm not sure that result will be satisfying.

Can't you go into Hammer and use those info_node_hint things? The hint nodes are nodes that let you add special properties into them through Hammer.

For the AI Nodes, there are some places that are covered, but when I spawn an NPC (eg. Metropolice), they would just stand.

I didn't used any other games materials beside hl2's, so i think it doesn't require any of them
