and the light makes the body less darker than the barell, so it sticks out

I think it's mostly the render looking strange. It doesn't look metallic enough, just... Black.

Eh...I actually refined the barrel and added some black color to it, and I added those like shiny lines on the start and the end of the barrel, but for some reason, the pattern doesn't show up in the "workshop_workbench", so yea.
