@Tchernobill Hello there! I really love the Infected Player mod you made. My friends and I can't get enough of it. But we do have a few questions. First, we know that you can turn a zombie back into a human by removing the infection in debug mode. But now, my friend has turned on debug mode, and he can't join my server. What should we do?

This mod is amazing, thank you for making it!! Literally no one else has created a mod like this, but it brings an entirely new goal to the game :') will there be an update for build 42?

@Riv I put it at 100% Chance, still doesn't work. Not sure if its because of the new version of Project Zomboid, and if it is, anyone know how to fix it?

@Lucid it says it only has a chance to infect, you might be really unlucky

With installing the mod I find it impossible to turn into a zombie, I get bitten, die, repeat. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hey so I installed this and let a ton of zombies swarm me but I only got control for a bit before I immediately died and got a game over.

when i died from a zombie for testing it i didnt turn into a zombie for reasons

@Ben_OnAir set infection probability to 0% in sndbox options. start your admin client in debug to get access to auto infection page (a new tab in character window).

Is it possible to let only Admin players become zombie players?

This is expected with major changes to animations processing in B42.
Also TimedActions should be swapped to shared.
There is probably other stuff to do.

I've gotten the mod to run in B42 by exporting it from the workshop folder to the manual mod folder, changing it into the build 42 format, and removing the dependency from the mod info file, while being subscribed to the new b42 version of the library. However, it's broken beyond all hell from what I can tell so far.

is there any chance you add an option to remove the zombie model so we can use custom zombie models for players instead of purely just the built in one?

Been using this mod for some time in B41. It MOSTLY works. Just be prepared for a few glithces.

You can die, then when you create a new character, spawn in zombified, as your death did not fully "take hold".

Getting killed by another player also sometimes keeps you spawning in as a zombie. So you have to bleed out or die by other means for you to regain your ability to zombify.

But otherwise 100% epic fun.

You can open doors. you can shout and get other zeds to hear you. you can SPRINT. You can open windows.

So player zeds are SMART SPRINTERS.

You can loot and drive cars too lol

Would love to use this with my friends, and if I die, go hunt them down and scare them/bite them

ok if i come back as a zombie can i somehow change character if i dont want to play as one i mean id be suck as a zombie if no one kills me right?

Wow, all we need now is a 'intellect' exp meter for zombie-players, and it would be like, George Romero's "Land of the Dead" from 2004, where the zombies were led by another, smarter zombie, who taught them to use guns, and was even smart enough to mercy kill another zombie that was on fire. Crazy stuff, Romero was truly something else!

Is it possible to set pvp on zombification? I think it should be default, but I don't know how PVP works overall in the game.

I wish I could just spawn as a semi-zombie.

When i use the bite attack it does nothing im using superb survivors btw. also zombies swarm you but do not attack like if you would be swarmed they wont bite they just push you around also i cant get the lay on floor to work so i just use the crawl mod
