@miku567 No, this mod's functionality depends on Active Defenses, so it cannot be removed from the dependencies. Although Active Defenses specifies NuterraSteam beta as a dependency, you can use the non-beta version of NuterraSteam instead. However, it will not work on the unstable version of TerraTech.

Can we get a version that dosent require Active Defenses? They're still on the beta NuterraSteam.

Only the Merlin Point-Defense Turret actually functions outside of a very short range of the enemy tech. It kind of makes all point defense outside of it useless. Strangely enough, though, when the Merlin starts targeting missiles, OTHER point defense systems kick in as well. So there's something deeper going on here than just weird range issues.

i used picket pd in early game and it tracks techs, please do not fix it, it's op

this appears to be an issue on the Active Defenses side, I'll pass it on to Legionite

Odd thing I noticed. GSO PD guns track your own explosives.

that is the correct behavior
Picket PD, Kestrel, BF all laser PDs can't be manually fired and are only activated during interception
