Thanks for the mod. If you want to have an invisible pinpointer beam, you can use the material id "smoke_magic", which seems to be invisible. This is a more convenient and permanent alternative to editing player.xml's LaserEmitterComponent to have _enabled="0" every time you pick up pinpointer perk.

Atomguy, it might be useful to add this to the in-game setting description or add a bool to the setting for overriding with that material id if the user wants invis.

It's just visual, just like the regular laser is made of spark , but doesn't set stuff on fire

Is the liquid type just visual, or does the material actually have gameplay impact?
