@Aludis imo your mod is much better then Neronix17's mod, i would much prefer to play your's than his in 1.5

Hi @AludisNHG, I am a huge fan of your great work! Thank you for your efforts! I am continuing More Archotech Garbage mod. Do you plan to maintain Archotech Race and Archotech Xenotype mods? If you allow that, I'd like to take maintenance of these over or fork and merge with More Archotech Garbage. What do you think?

While I do enjoy Neronix17's mod as well having the archotech race abilities as genes is still very nice as they allow for more interaction with the biotech elements of the game.

use character editor then turn the children/babies into this xenoype ;)

@Cluric These are Xenogenes. Xenogenes don't get passed along to children in vanilla.

I still think this is a cool mod for what it does even though its different from Necronix mod. I am probably going to use both man it will be fun. Good job btw I like the mod!

Give them some sort of hivemind gene, in which all archotypes are utterly ruthless and cold killing machines without fear that live and die only for the colony.

Suggestion for a custom gene to make: Archomind (or some other name), which adds bonuses to consciousness, research, learning, etc. It would also give psychic increases, meaning that the archoskin psychic buff would have to be removed.

Hi !
First, this is an amazing mod, i've started a new game around this mechanic of "OP Archotech with an army of baseliner helpers". Very good work, thank you !

However, despite creatying a new race with theses new genes as "heritable", child doesnt get them at birth (obviously i can cheat and add them manually later on, but still...)
I've currently no other mod genes, and the console doesnt throw any error around either conception or birth !

If you haven't already a few things to consider adding or tweaking: Seperating the custom eyes from the archoskin gene so they can use other eye changing genes without issues. Instead of always being stuck with the same one or a glitched version in cases where players decide to edit their genes. Another is tweak archoskin itself so it behaves more like gaunt or other non-color based skin type gene mods. By that I mean making it able to be recolored by skin color but by default has no color of it's own. No clue how you would go about masking on the skin to keep the circuit looking parts the same without relying on better gene graphics framework though.

@lejkob archotechs are basically the gods in rimworld so of course they would be overpowered.
