@Y. Valerunner I'd say make a discussion and post the config data in the discussion so that way people can edit their own stuff for personal use.

yo, managed to change the configs to include the B1 droids successfully :D lmk if you want the config and update this, I don't know how to make mods.

So I have the Battle Droid customisation mod, but I can't seem to use the head with these BX units. Any fixes?

Doh, totally forgot that rebuild can be used to change class. No worries. Ended up retraining him using [WOTC] Rebuild Soldier

@Drakten I believe the console command to change a soldiers class is rebuildselectedsoldiers class. Sadly with how Allies unknown works sometimes you get a robot turning into a psionic class. There are several mods that allow you to change one class to another but I do not know all of them off the top of my head.

So funny happenstance: I got a BX droid soldier as a reward, and he was a Psionic Ravager from your Psionic classes mod. Which did not work out great, seeing as BX have zero will :P

this mod when droid using scaremonger is causing the droid to T-POSE before the enemy unit get pulled.

after trying an alternative by combining this mod with B1 customization , its seem like B1 customization are avalable EXCEPT the head :'(
So if you dont have time to add buildable B1 maybe you could just add the customization :)

There is some mod who add droid but as human custom part :'(

@Gameking117 I actually use the proxian mod for this. I do some config tweaks so the proxians can use super battle droid cosmetics and it works out well enough.

What if you added some kind of B1 droid option. Basically it would be an ungodly cheap and quick option to churn out fodder troops. I imagine they'd thave pretty poor stats with low health, aim, and mobility, maybe a heavy weapons version could be created that has an armor point and slightly better aim. But the real appeal would be the cost and creation time. Maybe only costing like, 30 or 40 supplies and 5 alloy, and being able to build multiple in one day. Could even make some kind of perk for them where they get improved stats if you deploy multiple of them on a mission. Given that in star wars they were always shown to be weak as individuals, but a real challenge when in large groups

@Alpha115 First off thanks for putting this up on the Workshop. Great to have another recruitable class!

I'm wondering if it would be possible for the cost to build to be opened up to config? Possibly something similar to what exists for RM's Geth or E3245's EWR-115?

The reason I ask is so that those of us using ARC (rather than AU) can bump up the cost to build so that it lines up better with the cost of vanilla SPARKs.

You might want to check out the code for the Kiruka Autogun from Iridar's SPARK Arsenal for a wrist-based main weapon. The way it's set up looks like it would function as a full replacement, even benefiting from things like ammo, overwatch abilities, etc.

Droidekas and B2s would be the hardest. Heavy weapons work great for the B2s wrist rockets, but not as a standard gun. So far the best basis for B2s would be the proxian mod, using UCR and setting up an invis head in the Proxian's XcomContent.ini. Even with that its not a wrist blaster but a palm blaster.

Not at all. Heavy weapons like the shredstorm already exist in base game, so there's the framework. You'd just have to make a mod for the new heavy weapon and give their specialized armor the built in capability.

@Darkswirl it will randomly assign the droids a class, typically of whatever classes are available. If you have a mod to retrain soldiers to different classes it should work on these guys as well.

Do droids naturally have the ability to train as classes, or is that a side effect of a mod I have? I only ask because droids that I build were automatically assigned classes (which is fine). They started 1 droid per class (of the 10 classes I have) but, once those ten were filled, they ONLY picked the same three classes over and over.

@123jazz2007 It's based on the HK mod, so what it is it adds a Rookie with different starting stats. That's how most of the Allies Unknown Mods work.
