Looks great! I always find myself a bit lacking in the localization / translation department. Additionally, The newest update removes the ruler requirement and gives a loyalty hook as well! I appreciate your help and feedback, it is very helpful!
@ Luigi_
I appreciate the feedback! In the newest update, I tried to fix something that has been bugging / plaguing the mod, and me! I haven't delved into the legitimacy aspect yet as my intention is to bring a more robust activity variant in the future. However, I am waiting for the new major expansion as I believe there will be significant change along with it, and it may better facilitate the development of the mod. I may very well add legitimacy into the mod, I simply haven't had the time. I hope you are enjoying the mod!
The alliance will clear in a couple days if your heir is not a ruler (negotiated alliance). Nevertheless, the latest update has made it a requirement for you heir to be a ruler of some kind (baronies/cities/temples count). I figured it would sort out of the confusion and make it more user-friendly. I hope all is well!
Alliance banners will clear after a couple days if you vassal isn't a ruler, but I believe it comes back when he becomes a ruler. Nevertheless, the latest update put a restriction that your heir must rule something. I figured it would be less confusing and more user-friendly that way.
@Hayashi
I am glad you are enjoying the mod, it is always great to hear! Best of luck in your world domination!
@dylanhunter
It should add right into an existing game. However I've not thoroughly tested if it effects achievements. It didn't effect them through quick testing for me but you may want to do your own due diligence with a test save just in case.
@Jaztin
I am planning on updating all the mods fairly soon here with small tweaks and such, though this mod works without issue on the current patch. The launcher will simply say it is not on the current version because the file it is getting information from simply has a different version number than the current game patch.
just what i've been looking for.
i groomed a prince for rulership in my empire his entire life just to have him toppled by my vasals in less than a year for being a noob. can't focus on world domination when my empire falls apart everytime which often takes a lifetime to reunite.
I plan on addressing a more complex system in the activity variant. As of now, I am looking at implementing something similar to the grand tour activity, whereas you choose the vassals you wish to visit and then options like 'tour grounds,' 'feast' and 'cultural festival' would be replaced with something like 'ask for fealty to heir', 'ask to leave faction', and other possibilities. Nothing is finalized yet and it will take a little while to complete between life commitments and the complexity and completeness I would like to release it with. I like the ideas you both already expressed, but feel free to comment with more if you think of some. I appreciate your comments and hope to release a very solid mod for the community!

The ai will not use it.

Sometimes swearing alliance does seem strong, maybe some vassals would offer a hook instead? I feel like if the outcomes were personality based it would add more flavor. Maybe someone who is arrogant and stubborn would not swear at all. And just like the grand tour not swearing could be a reason for imprisonment.
I appreciate your comment , though there are many -- and I mean many -- directions that sentence could take! Let us just whimsically trust your vassal is learning wholesome things!
While I can't in good-faith say that it is save game compatible because I am not 100% certain, I have had no weirdness or troubles on pre-existing saves. But maybe I've not noticed something. Nevertheless, I hope all goes well for you!
I'm glad you like it! It cost a base cost of prestige, gold, and piety to go through with the interaction. Depending on what you select (hook, gold, etc.), you will pay additional resources. For example, if you select gold as an option, you will pay gold to your vassal, and pay a minimal amount of prestige, gold and piety. If you select piety, you will pay piety to the vassal and pay a minimal amount of prestige, gold, and piety.
As to acceptance chance,the mod has some unused code in it to account for non-acceptance, but I took out functionality as I figured people wouldn't want to go through with the interaction if it wouldn't benefit them and cost them resources. Though, I think making it so that if one declines it, you get an imprisonment reason on them & vassal opinion loss, or something else of utility would be a good idea. I will probably try to add that functionality.
Kindly,
idev
Thanks for reaching out. Your vassal will ally with your heir. You can see the alliance if you click into your heir. The alliance will not show for your vassal until your heir becomes a ruler. (If you die or give your heir some land, they will form an alliance together).
