New update adds duplicate traits for Plantoid and Lithoid equivalents (Photovalaic and Geomantic).

Again, I'm sorry to add to the lengthy trait list, but this is the only way to ensure the mod stays maximally compatible with mods that mess with your default trait list/etc.

FYI guys, the species specific traits from Biogenesis have now been duplicated, and may be applied to any of the Portrait's Unleashed categories.

The duplication does spam the list a little, but is the easiest way to maintain compatibility with other mods and future-changes by the developers.

A similar update will soon be done for all Lithoid and Plantoid traits as well.

Azaryn is under my faux plantoid category and should operate like a plantoid species. I can't add portraits to existing categories without causing a tidal wave of potential mod conflicts sadly.

Added some new recolors of existing portraits, and rounded out every portrait option existing to a minimum of 10 variants.

@Gauntlet - Fantastic mod - really enjoying some of the diverse new creature appearances - just wanted to see if there was something like Silfae's portraits reorganised? Like something to have each new species type assigned to their respective existing type :steamthumbsup:

I don't know the names of the paragons. Virtually all paragon leaders were done, and sharpbeak sounds like the bird guy who I can confirm is in there.

Well I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble, however, I have every DLC and have been playing every day, and don't have any problems with the mod right now. I would consider reinstalling Stellaris and trying from scratch.

hey, i love this mod but it doesnt seem to work anymore :(
i have all the dlc, and tried unsubbing fro every mod then downloaded this exclusively to see if it was a conflict and still unfortunately it just doesnt appear in empire creation.

Okay, I added some code back into the original file, it doesn't break anything for the current version, and this should make the mod backwards compatible to 3.11.3 as far as I know.

My guess would be "no". They split the file that creates new portrait groups into a total of three files now. So basically the bits of code that dictated what portraits go in which category, are now in a completely new file (and therefore missing from the old file).

It probably won't crash, and, I'd wager existing races will still have the correct portraits, but you won't see any portraits in the categories when making a new race.

City sets and rooms would be unaffected.

this is EXACTLY what I wanted. Would you consider name lists?

I have one custom name list created but I do not know how to transform it into a name list, happy to email it or send it somehow as a first one. It's a sort of an Elder God style name list.

Small update, fixed the portraits for "Fadeling" AKA the extra dimensional entities... updated them to their new versions ala Astral Planes.

Small update, added one of the new humanoid portraits to Modernals, increased the color variants from 6 to 13, and removed their hair. (Just to be a little different)

Havent seen any specifics in the match I tried, I suppose the only real thing that stands out is the version being wrong in the launcher, which is a minor detail.
There's also the three new portraits but I believe they work just fine even with this mod enabled.

Honestly I can't duplicate what you are experiencing.

1) Maybe there is a mod conflict with another mod you are using with custom rooms? (Unlikely)
2) Probably some files got corrupted, I would unsub and resubscribe.

@grendain you need to be more specific to be helpful.

For example, what room, and what do you consider the background (Presumably you mean the city selection choice), and then what do you mean by "don't compatible".

Some rooms do in fact completely cover up the city-scape, that is intentional and not a bug or issue (for example subterranean origin also has this effect).

Done. Crystalization and Rediotrophic are now available ot the Geomantic category on race creation.

To do this, a file had to be added that overrides those entries... this introduces the slight possibility of compatibility issues (nothing would game breaking) with mods that also modify those specific traits FYI.

Worst case scenario, depending on load order, the traits will just not be available to Geomantics, or, won't be changed by whatever mod you are using that is conflicting. It's a really niche case, but the big trait overhaul mods would cause the issue most likely.

This is a great mod getting to use the paragon portraits is really nice. If I can make a small request/suggestion would you be able to make the geomantic category able to take lithoid crystallization and radiotrophic traits?

Small update. What few rooms I hadn't already added, that were in the game but were not made available for race creation... have been done. This included things like the Galactic Custodian and Emperor rooms and some shroud stuff.

I don't think I have the energy to do name lists at the moment, but I'll def keep it in mind.


Small Update:
Geomantics now properly act as Lithoids in every way as far as I can tell. Which is intended and why some portraits are listed there and also in other categories.
