Is it possible to implement a hologram of the thing you want to paste and to rotate it with your keyboard?

I have a question, is there any way you can make it include assets? This would make the mod EXTREMELY helpful, you could make your own buildings and more!

Is it possible to save the template in a separate file and load the template into another map? Or can it be done by a procedure unknown to me?

I have a problem with the rotation slider.
I don't know why, but it goes from 29 to 31 degrees. So it's impossible to choose a 30 degree rotation.

It's incredible how much time I'm going to save thanks to you. I had it in my head to make a symmetrical constructions on my map and I was wondering if there was a way to copy-paste constructions. And then I came across your mod. Thank you very much!

Some problems with height. When you paste the template, the height is different than the copied template. Unfortunately, this can only be remedied by raising or lowering the terrain. The height cannot be changed with "," and "." .

Incredible mod, gone is the tedious repeating work that made me stop connecting other cities.
What I do is make a train station, cargo hub, etc. to my liking with all rails connected on a separate part of the map, and every time I need it, I simply copy and paste it where I need it.

"There is no keyboard listener in the API". Can you make it to listen some other shortcut? and then make a "Dropdown select" to give us the choice? We don't use all shortcuts...

@radimaher I think you are saying you can't copy "town buildings" - that is deliberate, however, I have added a checkbox that allows you to do this anyway with the caveat that it will not function - for aesthetic purpose only.

People asset for example. I was add "result.personCapacity = { type = "INDUSTRIAL", capacity = 1 }" to function data{}, It hepls me. Now this asset is able to copy with your mod. Do you know another way?

@radimaher can you give some examples of assets you are trying to copy? The api does not alllow direct placement of assets but many are made through a construction I may be able to workaround.

How can I copy assets? When I try to copy, I can't mark any assets, mark just buildings and streets.

Awesome. I spent hours last year making suburbs by endlessly placing one house at a time. Now it seems it can be done with a few simple clicks. And being able to make a template for repeated use during a game is genius. Thank you.

I have been running with both, I see them very differently - move it is useful for making small fine tuning adjustments, like an individual node in a street network. It also aims to keep things connected when moving constructions around, whereas this mod is building everything free form.
