After a few minutes of playing, the mod breaks down and stops working in game.

would there be a way for me to change what the beeps sound like? I personally prefer the vanilla radio beeps but with this mod's radio interference

Hey is this open source? I want to add a few channels to each side. But it would require me to unpack and repost it in my server pack. Very happy to find a cleaned mod version of the script. Great work

@Charlese2, hello! Sorry for the late response, for so long I've been using PBO Manager to pack my mods. Just now, I tried using the Addon Builder from the A3 Tools, I've updated the mod, can you test if it now works? :) Thank you very much!

The Arma 3 Tools say the signature is correct but the server still says it is wrong. Launching Arma 3 with the "Check signatures" Parameter in the launcher (or -checkSignatures on the command line) makes it say "Signature C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\!Workshop\@Vanilla VOIP Radio Beeps\addons\tf811_radio.pbo is wrong. Error 0x22/4. Test FAILED!"

I am not sure what is causing it.

Did you remember to resign TF811_Radio.pbo ? Using the signature check tool in the Arma 3 Tools it says, "Signature TF811_Radio.pbo.TF811.bisign is wrong". If the PBO was updated on March 26th but the signature wasn't updated that would explain the signature verification issues.

The mod is not working on dedicated server. Its was enabled on both server and clients but no one can hear anything on the radio on side channel or any other channels.

Can you check if it works when you're in the Eden Editor? or even the Arsenal? Does it work there and not on your server? You might have mods/server settings interfering with the mod.

I still have the problem and all the players use it, it is even loaded on the dedicated server but only the animations work, the radio beep does not sound

Still the same problem, I confirmed that "TF811.bikey" was placed in the server KEY folder. And even if I subscribed to the MOD again, it still doesn’t work.

Is it only needed on the client side? Yesterday I asked both the server side and client side to load it and I kept getting a server signature error when I connected to the server. I'll cancel the server side mod and try again later today, maybe that's the problem.

@StalkerMX, this mod is actually client-side but requires everyone to have it :) The server doesn't need to have it loaded.

@千夏𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙆𝘼, I've actually signed this mod, have you tried putting the Key to the server as well?

I also encountered the problem of signature verification. The server mounted it and the KEY file also existed, but it always failed. There is definitely something wrong.

it lacks the effect which allows you to put a filter on the radio-style voice when you speak to really replace normal tfar.

@SPEC.F, well, I designed it to how I use the mod in-game.

In our normal ops, I would enable Voice Over Net (defaults to Direct) to have an open mic proximity chat. All Talk To Channel keybinds revert to Direct Channel to keep having Voice Over Net to Direct only.

If I didn't design it this way, every time I would, for example, use Talk to Side, the VON would change to Side Channel, thus putting your open mic to Side (which should always be on Direct) after communicating. It would always be a drag to put my VON back to Direct.

Did I explain it right? If you want to communicate where the channel would retain where you selected it, use the Push to Talk key bind. But if you use all the Talk To Channels keybinds, they all will revert to Direct Channel.

@Carver, same, Push to Talk kinda sucks HAHA that's why I prefer the PTT-Channel Keybinds.

You really hate the Hello Gesture ey? HAHAHAHAHA jk, noted. Will add an option to disable just that from the Talk to Direct.

Yeah that makes sense, it's just that the friends I play with don't wanna use the Push to Talk keybind, they find it annoying haha, it is what it is

@Carver, yes, though I don't think it's a problem, rather should be a discipline to all players to reserve VON to Direct only. hehe

That's why all PTT-Channel keybinds (except Push to Talk), all revert back to Direct Channel. So you can keep the Voice Over Net to Direct (open proximity mic), cause I think it should be left that way. I think it would be sometimes annoying if someone has a hot mic over radio channels, so I really recommend VON to Direct only. haha.

Well, in real life, radio comms will always be Push To Talk, so I don't think there's a work around to what you're mentioning.

The only problem I've noticed is that if you activate Voice Over Net on direct communication, you still can cycle through the various channels without actually making the animation when talking

Happy New Year everyone! I made some tweaks to the mod, to make it easier to use.

1. "Push to Talk" is now open for all channels. You now don't have to utilize the keybinds for PTT-Direct, PTT-Group, PTT-Side, etc. Just the Push to Talk will suffice. Just cycle through Direct, Group, Side, Command, and Global channels.

2. For "Push To Talk", the "Hello Gesture' is not preset.

3. The Hand Animations/Gestures can now be disabled if you only want the radio beep sounds.

4. Re-signed and replaced the Key of the mod. Hope it helps those having key issues.

@LordCreach, it just means that the server is not using the mod. :) The host needs to have the mod for everyone to use it.

I am having the same issue as @EdisonFall.

Server kicks clients when attempting to join because tf811_radio.pbo are not signed by a key accepted by the server.

@JIJITANKO, same as my reply to your comment in the NVG Anim. This animations in the mod takes over and replaces the reloading and throwing sequence. :)
