It's compatible with character editor, but VTE - NL Facial Animations will be overwritten or will overwrite depending on load order.

@epic gamer it's a design choice for Big and Small genes. A patch would need to be made externally.

can you disable facial animations for certain pawns? e.g. im using big and small genes and this overrides the ogre's face and while its very nice to see a silly beautiful ogre, it feels wrong. wasn't sure whether to ask here or back on the other mod's page

If anyone does a stupid like I did, ignore what I just commented. I told NL Facial animations to draw eyes, and then got surprised when they gene eyes over the other eyes. :steamfacepalm:

Hello, quick question, I got a Hussar in my colony and it's putting the vanilla red eyes over the actual eyes this mod introduces. Is that intentional? If not, I probably know the problem, I believe its because of Vanilla Expanded Races - Hussar. Do you have any advice, or should I poke the devs for the other mod?

Hi! It's amazing mod, but i have problem with furskins. Fur on the face looks like if it has been cut off, and the face itself is excessively red.
So, it's could be fixed by using furskin textures from Imozou's Facial Animations and changing HeadType.xml in 1.4\Defs\FaceTypeDefs\Human folder, we need add <shaderColorOverride>Map/CutoutSkinOverlay</shaderColorOverride> to all types of the head.

I think that's something NL Facial animations do as I only really touch the textures themselves.

Can the different coloured left/right eye behaviour be disabled? I don't mind the idea, but it is way too common, imo.

How would one go about making extra textures for this mod? I've been thinking of making a small set of extra eyebrows and eyes for my own use

On my own system, mid to high range specs. I dont notice much performance impact. I'd imagine they'd the same as NL facial animations. Maybe there'd be slowdown during large raids, or caravans but I'd think it'd be the same as any other texture mods.
