enhanced blood splatter system breaks all blood when you uninstall it, I dont recommend it

You can try using different shaders in the .VMT files to correct that glow-in-the-dark issue. It won't always work that easily, but sometimes you get lucky. If it comes down to it, you can correct the actual image files as well; just takes much more time.
