The original file (portraits.gui and portrait_cameras.txt) has been modified in 1.13. Just update two files with mods file. it works

u can change the default pose if u edit the portraits.gui file in my mod.(with a text editor) just search for 'personality_content' and change it to something else like 'personality_dilligent'

RUI *mostly* worked with this for me, there was some jank with traits sometimes disappearing, though you could still see them in the expanded traits menu.

nope, i just checked it and seems they do something to the whole structure of the UI.
I dont even see how I could do a compartibility patch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
