Yep, lot of bugs unfortunately :( Missing mag on weapon; realod not working all the time. Great idea thou.

In addition, after this kind of reloading, the magazine will not be displayed on the weapon model.

When I reload the weapon normally with 'R' and break the animation with 'shift + R', I will lost one extra full magazine in my inventory. I think that's a bug.

only difference from reload with the pistol appears to be dropping the mag - no change in animation or speed

Hey man ,is there any way to drop an empty mag in fast reloading?When player run out bullets ,shift R can only execute original animation.It's quite important in assault or some emergent situation.Please help.

getting this weird bug where as soon as i run out of bullets my character will reload and just drop the mag. so i press R, he reloads, the rounds never show in the gun and the mag disappears. not sure if it's related to your mod or if it's like cup/rhs compat maybe? dunno, figured i'd ask to see if you had any ideas :D great mod!!

I added the first animation for rifles. The reload time for them is about 1,2-1,5 seconds now. Animations for pistols, etc. will follow

So I noticed that if you attempt to use this mod on a completely empty mag it will revert to the normal reload. Is this intentional or a bug with how Arma handles empty magazines?

@Illu no this mod is not client side since the magazines on the ground need to be created by the server for others to see them

Afaik this mod allowes you to repack your mags with single bullets. If that is correct than there should be no problem since it's still magazines

Nifty mod!
One thing I noticed while testing, though, is that every mag seems to be dropped in its own ground container even if the player hasn't moved between reloads with this mod, and also that ground containers made by this mod are not cleaned up (deleted) when the player picks the magazine back up from them.
This isn't a breaker, for sure, but it could become an issue, draining resources on pointless vehicles/objects, if you've got a few dozen players doing tac-reloads during an extended firefight.
Is there a way that you could add a check for nearby ground containers when initiating the reload, and maybe also have a script running cleanup for emptied containers?

[CoG] Digii thank you for your swift answer. Can't wait for the update! Also, I've seen many different sik! reloading techniques and moves in Instagram and YouTube. The reloading is less than 1 second. I think it can help.

@XOFGaming84 yes. This mod works with every weapon (vanilla and modded) and every scenario. If you notice some errors using certain mods or weapons please let me know

That is the problem I'm currently facing. For most weapons the fast reload is only about 0.2 seconds faster. I'm still working on my own animations that will be faster since you can't increase the time for one specific animation.

If anyone here has experience in making animations / gestures in Arma please dm me.

Hi, it seems to me that the reload speed using Shift+R does not differ from the vanilla reload speed using R. Is it possible to increase the reload speed while Shift+R? I think this is the main feature.

The problem with 2xR is that the Arma 3 engine does not really allow it. You could bind it to 2xR but the moment you press it once it starts the action that is bound to 1xR

I wish this would work when using 2xR as the keybind. I set it up using Custom User Action 5 and assigning that to be R (double tap), but Arma plays the normal reload instead. :(
