First of all the map is based on timertriggers. 60 seconds is a good amount of time for the survival room because it (the current survival room) becomes boring after this time.

I had the idea of an excessive final battle in the first concepts of the map (with one map becoming harder and harder, spawning everywhere enemies). But I realized the most computers can't handle this. Everywhere the final fight lagged. So I changed this.

And most important: "The Battles" is not really a survival map where you have to survive as long as you can. Everyone should reach the end of the map with having fun.

Ah, yea, I saw that, but why 60 seconds? Kinda wish after 60 seconds it'd teleport you to another room that was even harder, then another, then another... until it's completely impossible. lol. You rarely get that kinda action after you've had 80k gold worth of upgrades.

The "Kick Out" is part of the story. (the survival room is the last fight in the map. It takes exactly 60 seconds. There is a text message in the beginning of the fight saying: "Can you survive 60 seconds?". But I'll make the hole thing more obvious in the next update.

And I think this workshop level is my favorite of all of them now. It's very fun and kinda relaxing having so many extra lives and food laying around.

I backed up my save file and tried the survival room a couple more times. We didn't appear to die in the survival room. We were completely destroying it until we randomly got teleported to the room in the desert.

1. No, there aren't any other gold keys (just some other secrets). But it's a good idea for the next update.
2. What do you mean with "kick me out"?
3. Did you have any other problems in the survival room?

I played through a second time so I could get the right upgrades for the survival room. Why did it kick me out after a while? I don't think I died. :(

The fire is for more action in the map, you should die more often during the survival phase. But sorry I can't attach the fire just to the player. I'll think about it, how I could solve this issue.

The ending is important for the replay value. Those who didn't get it have to play it again to see the ending screen (I'll add an secret real ending soon).

Okay map, pretty easy but that's what makes it quite relaxing and nice. Two things though, at the end (SPOILER ALERT) during the survival phase, why did everything set on fire? The low tier monsters died before they even could come at me and dropped enough food for me to easily survive, and after that, the ending was really disappointing. Being unable to actually win just because of a 50/50 chance? No, that's just bad. But aside from those two things yeah, it was a pretty cool map, I enjoyed it.

I played through this with a few friends on hard mode, and it was impressively fun (we used the ulimited lives crutch because we're mostly filthy casuals). Of course when we got to the end I did not hit the right button on purpose. We'll probably end up playing it again! It was a lot of fun And I would highly reccomend it to anyone else looking for a good map. :squirtheh:

Try this. Unsubscribe my map. You'll have to delete older versions of my map manually and subscribe again. start your game and now a new map should be downloaded.

A fun 1-2 hour romp. I really enjoyed the optional challenges you could take on to earn extra money and the treasury right before the last fight was a great touch. Unfortunately the last fight, while it tries to pull off an interesting idea, ultimately falls short and almost ruins the whole experience. As of now, the last fight spawns so many enemies per second that it crashed the computers of everyone in our party.

A warning to fellow Hammerwatch players: do not play this map unless it has been updated since the writing of this comment. In the final boss fight, approximately 20 skeleton minions spawn per second in the four corners of a tiny room with inumerable minibosses as well. As I am writing this, I am dying repeatedly with no control due to my 0.25 FPS.

To the author: If you want specific feedback, feel free to add me as a friend and message me. There is potential and the fact that you've put in the dedicated time and effort to make a complete campaign is impressive, so I would be happy to help improve your vision. ^^

Awesome map! Had a blast playing it!

Just minor feedback:
You should add the flower-hole-tilemap around the flowers attack radius.

As myran mentioned before, the last battle was a little overhelming for the netcode, just reduce the enemy numbers and this would be a great addition to the workshop :)

We played this 4 players at the office today, it was really nice. Good job! That last battle might be a bit excessive :D the netcode really couldn't handle it that well :)

I tried it on hard with wizard, singleplayer... Hah... You should call it Unlimited Battle Works.
Soo many enemies... Too many... It'd probably be best with four person multiplayer.

I tried again on easy with knight and with just running away from all enemies ...

My experience:
"Thank you for rescuing me, here have some gold..."
*grabs gold and runs followed by a 1,000 enemies.... *
"RUN YOU FOOL!"

I got stuck when I thought I picked up a bronze key in the gold key map, but didn't seem to give me a key... Not sure what happened.
