yer pretty spot on (funny thing is i think i am the 4th person to keep this mod alive and go "fk this bs community behaviour" and leave).
assembly also doesn't do anything to help minimize the bad behaviour; got banned 4 times just discussing the overreaction to the changeling dlc; saw the worst bs people saying we should slaughter the devs etc. stay posted for weeks and getting banned everytime one commented to them...
.. yer at the end i just lost interest (doesnt make it better when your banned you can't fix, updated, post etc. for mods; soo it was month+ off dumb bans, stopping any updates while terrible peoplegot to run amok....


so yer, too dissapointed in the moderators and companies reaction to that.

Sorry to hear this, I did at times use either yours or other people's versions however it saddens me to hear this was the case. This along with the drama from a year ago with Radious are some of the most devastating things right after Mixu incompatibility with Radious.

So I found a bug I believe. Unless its intended.

So when playing as Vampire Coast you usually have given a set amount of item drops only for vampire coast. But when I activate this mod a bunch of items are dropped, even crafted unique ones and so on.
This makes it WAY harder to actually fuse items as now there are way more random items in the drop pool, so its harder to find two a kind.
I assume this problem occur for every race in this mod. Just assume.

you should be able to run without this mod and still not have issues with items not on the right hero.
(not tested but theory should work, if you don't have gold items on, as they dont exist outside the mod).

on new games on new patches with new lords/heroes, there will be issues running it if not updated.

honestly i rewrote my answer; not bc its not true but bc its pointless to discuss with you. your arguments and views are based in your believe made from assumptions that doesnt make sense. you can't logic people out off something they didnt logic themselves into.

And speaking of long term plans, that would involve a new engine which they have yet to do, preferably using Unreal Engine 5 cause they developed just recently something that can allow millions upon millions of artifacts on screen without much loss of fps, where as before a model containing thousands of vertices were a problem, now it could be millions and your computer will be asking if you even turned it on. But they want to go for quick cash grabs, they want to minimize costs for important shit and waste money for dumb shit, and I'm we are not their bail-out bank.

I genuinely believe, that the reason that DLC cost 24 and why Chaos Dwarves also cost so much, is because of their development costs of Hyena and the money they wasted on it(cause it flopped), and now OTHER games and OTHER fans that have NOTHING to do with Hyena, have to pay the price for it if they want the content legally. Sry but no. Out of a sense of self respect or w.e you want to call it, I would not fork over my money to them like some kind of cash-cow. I'll pay for fair products, they keep dishing out good content, I'll keep paying for it, no problem, but if the price makes sense. They want QUICK-FAST income to fix the issues, instead of thinking LONG-TERM and gradually dishing out content and fair prices and getting back on track.

Compare the content to price ratio, a handful of units to nearly HALF the price of the base game that is 60 bucks, a handful of units and 3 lords, and being modders we both know how long it would take to put that in the game, minutes per unit if you're comfortable and know the tables like the back of your hand, which they do, and hours per unit for making the 3d models and textures.

60 bucks, for that much campaign map design, towns, cities, factions, lords, units, mechanics
compared to 24 for a fraction of a fraction of that, that is inexcusable

no it wasn't.

they added an extra 8€ cost on a technical dlc bc it took far more than expected to do and instead off doing a eqn and simply scrap the project and focus development in another more profitable area they stuck to it finished it and put on the cost on the dlc so that they can explain to money man why its a good idea to improve base engine stuff instead off mindless copy pasting the same.

and 24€ for a dlc is NOT outragous, no its stuff like destiny2 which does X.00 € per dlc/expension and then removes so much content etc. while not improving base stuff (still using stock asset grenade throw animations on basically everything not a weapon) is outragous; but you are here screaming at a low priced dlc with a really good reason for the price point and you care little for the reality off WHY, which they explained which they didnt have to, even twice, but you still to ignorant, angry and led-by the nose to listen or care..

Don't dump me in the same boat, just gave my 2 cents, what SEGA did was wrong, and I've never reviewed bombed anyone

Way I see it, if Sega hadn't wasted 60 million(?) dollars in making that flop of a game called Hyena(even the name sucks), then they wouldn't have gone to their more productive team(Creative Assembly) and use it as the cash cow that it is to try to recoup their losses.

THEY made the blunder, the mistake, and WE QUITE LITERALLY have to PAY for it by absurdly increasing the prices of DLCs, absurd because you compare the content to price ratio and then compare that to the base game content to price ratio. This whole excuse about "oh it's because things are getting more expensive or inflation" is just deflecting bs to not say "We made a business decision blunder and wasted 60 million dollars on pure shit...so um...fork over money to make it feel like it never happened" dafuq? Na man, that's your fking problem.

so i opened the game to do this for you people.

now i IMMEDIATEDLY noticed the difference in the ground code.
my zoom in and out of combat has become amazingly smooth and zooms so far.
the turn ends is faster by enough that i feel it. the loading screens are smoother.
the movement off units are improved, view wise bc better performance. etc.

also i will bet you if i try to fix my mod off
"all mounted heroes become unmounted when the mount die" or units turning into other units; will be VASTLY easier to do now, bc holy crap was it a fiddling and badly functioning setup.

ALL THIS AND MORE was explained in not ONE but TWO ENTIRE BLOG POST TELLING YOU DUMBFKS WHY 8€ more was needed, and instead off listening, testing, playing the game, you dumbfks ran a campaign to review bomb and terrorise the devs for months...

While I'm a bit disappointed by certain things about WH3's development cycle, I don't see why it's necessary to grill someone else for liking the DLC, or for defending CA. it should run fine, there has been no addition off characters since i last updated it. will give it an upload so it removes the marking for not uptodate.

as said the joy off doing this has dissapeared so it's doubtfull i will use my spare time and energy updating again.
