@Jasdan - I could take a look into how to do so, for sure.

Could you please add a Sandbox option to your stacking mods to customize their weight by percentage?
This is for the people that have Material Weight Reduction Mods.

@balance - right-click the branches in your inventory. If you have enough to make a stack, the option will be there.

@shadow - thanks!!!

I'm probably overlooking something obvious, but how exactly do you get the branches to stack?

Hey, you might not be good at making models but its a nice start, also you pretty much gave a helping hand to most survivors out there with this

Log stacker is posted: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2996791536

I've also added a list of links to the bottom of all the "stacker series" mods lolz... Make it easier for y'all to find each of them.

Part1)

@ZGal88 In regards to Jasdan, I believe it's essentially the same thing I was saying about a log pile. There are some assets in the tile brush menu that are from 2-6 tiles in size, relative to the log pile. One is HUGE and looks like for a lumber yard pile. All of which do store "some" wood. Yet at most like 4-5 logs per tile, with the large 6 tile log pile only having storage on the front side and the back tiles, so half the tiles do nothing. They may have also been referring to the 4-Log Stake you can make into a tidy little pile with rope as an example? But I feel like it was all in reference to the tile sets of log piles. (personally none of the tile piles are very pretty and all hold a ridiculously small amount of logs.)

Part 2) -sry wrote too much, lol-

As to the notes, lol, thanks for listening. I'll get back to ya, but the more I thought about it today:
Obviously not ALL items need a stack but there are certainly some large materials that are annoying to waste multiple cupboards to hold. ei: Logs, Metal Sheets, and I'll try to think of more. Then I though... you know, maybe some Canned Food Stacks? Instead of placing individual cans 1 at a time on surfaces. Could be nice in a tight place to just have a stack on the counter to add to? And possibly Ammo? Ammo piles are a good accent for an Armory. Idk... these are the few that really came to mind. Feel free to add me if you like, I enjoy discussing ideas and problem solving. 07

@Jasdan - I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I follow what you're explaining lolz

@Opt_O - No seriously, keep the ideas comin... *takes notes* lolz

@Shadow - yeah, I'm not great at making models.. this and my other stacking mod are literally just re-used and modified vanilla assets >.>

you know what these branch stacks looks like?

Yeah I have to admit, the more I thought about it there are a few Mats that could be quite useful as "stackable". Like Metal Sheets, Bars, Fertilizer? I'm just back into playin' after a long time off so I'm a bit uncertain of what gets used a lot. I just know it's either consuming LOTS of storage space for the big mats, or scattered stacks all over. I like the idea of "a little tidy" in my apocalypse. Also with the metal stacks my mind was on some great Vehicle Mods but require you to pile large amounts in the adjacent work spaces or break your back with 15 metal sheets. With stacks you could place the mats around the parking space, store them up, and park a vehicle in between when needed for body work. Plus with Vehicle Repair Overhaul Mod you can repair with so much more that stacks would be way better than restocking limited shelf space IF were lucky enough to have a functional garage. (Ok... I'll shut up now. Thanks btw.)

You know, it would be nice if you made the llarger stacked log ones look similar to some of the Log Tiles in the vanilla game, not the big ones, but the smaller ones.
It'd be kinda funny, but also make sense if the stacks were of Logs Stack's, not of the individual Log Item.
Tipsy Chaos Pixie  [author] 28 Jun, 2023 @ 8:53pm
@Jasdan - Yep, those are on their way too, but as separate mods >.>
Tipsy Chaos Pixie  [author] 28 Jun, 2023 @ 8:53pm
@Opt I would be happy to do logs next, sure!
Opt_0™ 28 Jun, 2023 @ 8:09pm
I just dumped 88 logs on the ground behind my house so I don't have to see them... unstacked. XD

Hermoso
Keep pumping this out please.
You can make one for Scrap Wood and Scrap Metal as a single mod, I like the idea of their stacks being Cubes.

I just added a TON of mods as I reset for a new map, so currently testing stuff. But I have Fav'd this one immediately though as a person who loves real campfires and stacking wood this Mod tickles my fancy. Thanks! I'll likely plop it in later once I make sure all my other stuff is working. I mean you can't have a campfire without a wood pile!

OH!? Any chance you could do this for Logs? Like up to 50 or something? Into a traditional "cord of wood" style wood pile? I've found log stacks within the -debug tile brush palette but the parts that store logs only store about 5 each with a total of only like 20 log for a LARGE fixture tile. (it takes up a lot of space for a little.) An actual wood pile mod would be great! (No pun intended!)

Haven't used the mod yet, but seems like a very useful, even if minor, QOL change. Good work. 👍
