@Fuzzy Hey there. Thanks for playing the mod. I’m glad you are enjoying it!

I’m always open to ideas and requests. I really like what you suggested. Next time I get around to doing some upgrades to this map I will certainly try and get some of those ideas implemented.

I cannot guarantee that the additional hero characters will be added, but I will absolutely explore it.

Separating the Brutes and Elites is a great idea too. I was actually going to do something like that with the map’s previously released update, but I ran out of time and it did not make the cut.

Hey man, love the mod! It’s nice to be able to just kick back after a long day and battle the ai with no real objective.

If you have plans to still update this mod I’d like to make a request:

Sgt. Johnson for the UNSC and Rtas ‘Vadum for the Covenant as new hero characters! Both with their respective switches and spawning whether you’re playing as Chief or the Arbiter so that you may fight alongside them.

And if possible, the option to enable/disable brutes and elites separately. Mainly just for roleplay purposes.

Yo Coagulation AI players - I have just released a small update that makes this mod conform with the latest MCC patch released yesterday. Everything should be fully functional just like before. If you notice something wrong that I have missed, feel free to let me know. Please be aware that previously saved checkpoints you may have will no longer exist. Thank you for your patience and enjoy!

@Chinfu1189 Hey there. Yes, the Halo 2 buttons are hard to tell what state they are currently in. There is a section of the switch in the center that turns orange when enabled. When disabled, there is no orange color anywhere. Also see the AI switch thread above for more info on the new system.

@GhostMoose Hey! Thanks for the suggestion. I can certainly look into adding in drones for the covenant's side, but flood will probably not be making it into this map. This is mainly due to AI intelligence limitations in the H2 engine. My Containment Breached mod features a large flood vs covenant war, so I highly suggest giving that one a try.

Oh man I like it but I would LOVE it if we could get flood and buggers. flood waves to spawn or just added in the middle to mess with everyone and buggers along with covenant in waves or the same as a standalone random wave. pls I beg

Today an update was released to the MCC from 343 Industries. I have just released a patch of this mod that will allow it to conform with the new game version. This mod will now work properly again with no issues. Enjoy!

@sonicx0398 Not as of yet. I’m slowly working through a backlog of updating my maps released throughout the year. I have a few ideas for additions to this map, but in its current state I feel it still stands strong.

@Jesus I do not have any plans to release anything related to this map other then the map download here on Steam. I do agree with you on the AI driving part, their abilities are not the best. Then again Coagulation was never intended for AI, so that could explain it too. As for adding more AI - I can certainly look into it, however the map runs close to the maximum Halo 2 can support loaded into the map at once. If too many are alive at once, the collective AI intelligence starts to break down, with the effects getting worse the further you go over the limits. Some symptoms of this are AI not noticing enemies, not pathfinding properly, bots standing in place doing nothing, and other annoying side effects.

My only regret is the bad AI driving, otherwise I really enjoy it (maybe add more ennemies ?)

@Novice I just ran a test on my other PC, and the mod is running fine over there, plus on my primary system. This must be an issue on your end. I suggest making sure the MCC as well as this mod are updated. If that is okay and the issue persists, I'd consider running a game files integrity check. You also might want to uninstall and reinstall this mod.

@Zealot Strange. I would make sure the map in fact updated for you. If that fails, uninstall the mod. Restart MCC and make sure it is gone, exit MCC again and then reinstall. It could be a corrupted download.

@Joan I have thought about the Hunters and would love to add them. So expect to see that with the next update. I'm going to experiment to see how much bigger I can make this war without losing any AI intelligence. I imagine I'll be able to add in a few more troops for each team.

aaand i just saw the AI thing you said before, that's a pity, but we can't do nothing about it unless changing a specific AI that is already set to be a jackal for example by the tank unit that is the hunter, it's more difficult to rethink than i actually thought xD

have you thought of adding hunters to the covenant AI? can make up for a very halo wars experience, although might be a little unbalanced since there's already fuel rod cannons being used by elites, maybe making it a separate mission? there's too many stuff that could be tested here in such a simple base idea as a classic UNSC vs covenant fight...

@Volcanis If one side gets too overpowered, I suggest changing the difficulty or turning on skulls to alter how the AI behave.

@Volcanis The mod is approaching the upper limit of how many AI the engine can sustain on map at once. If I add in too many more, the collective AI intelligence on map will begin to degrade, and the AI will cease being the fun characters we all love playing with. Halo 2 is 19 years old after all. Its AI engine can be easily over stressed when adding in too many AI. I am pushing it as is with the current amount. I can look into testing to see if more can be added, but today's update is just a simple compatibility upgrade.

@Alyx117 There are actually two maps that are part of this mod. They are both identical - with the only difference being what character the player plays as, and the team the player is allied with. To make both teams and characters playable, I had to include two maps in the download.
