But :
- Magic spell heat hard arty/ranged unit, maybe too much magic wind
- Heroes are very week, even lvl 10+ they taken a lot of damage very quickly, some unit unit as dragon also
- The modification of speed on cavalry is frustrating, don't have the feeling anymore to control a speedy unit that can flank
But I'm worrying if all these global changes will need a lot of patches or is it rather done in a way that doesn't affect tthe rest of the mods? like instead of edititing individual values it is done via script via modificators or something?
May I ask when you plan on releasing the updated version of this mod you are working on? Just curious cause you happen to be on so many projects with matched combat, sfo, etc.. Really happy for ya and seriously congratulations on being such an influential modder on so many different aspects of the game.
Very cool idea to remove penalties, replays will work again.
Weaken heroes, one of the best features in this mod

only an opinion of one though.
The main change will be on the lords and heroes.
Instead of having these current penalties which I don't like.
This modification will be replaced to instead add a 50% reduction in the life points of lords and heroes.
Which will make the gameplay more realistic and leveling fairer

Charged a line of handgunners with full ammo into my melee line.
I was told that changing "melee_attack_interval" to 1 in the db_kv_rules_tables does not actually have an effect on the game. But, rather if you change the animation interval in the melee_weapons_tables for each unit you will produce an actual change in the frequency of attacks and animation of units. Apparently this also helps with Matched combat animations occurring even more frequently. I was told this by the author of the mod “Legendary Melee”.
I always play with a mod that gives infinite moral to all forces because I preferred fighting to the last man rather than still having a lot of forces still available to fight but they retreat. But I must say, after just playing one battle I love what you have done with moral. There is a very small amount of forces left and then they retreat. SO much more realistic and allows me to enjoy a battle much much more. I was originally going to ask if you could make a version with infinite moral but I think you have opened my eyes to something I was missing and opened me to a new level of strategy to enjoy in the game. Thank you Hecleas. Thank you very much for your passion.
