in the latest copy, it's still buggy here and there. does not do well with hi ping but otherwise I enjoy it a lot XD
Game crashed yesterday during multiplayer, Steam cloud couldn't sync for some minutes. After that worked again and launching the game, it no longer shows the multiplayer interface (load multiplayer etc. are missing) despite the mod is still subscribed. No DLC installed. Any idea what to do?
In general, it is great fun to play ONI in multiplayer, but the "duplicant desync" means that in reality the client has a mostly invalid (out of sync) game representation. At the evening, many things are completely different on host and client, tunnels exist here but are completely missing there etc. Which in reality means the client player is quite restricted since many commands are invalid anyway. At night, when the game saves, it is synced again and the client player faces a quite different reality after that.
How do I log in to a friend's server?
it works and it was very easy. friend 1 opens a multiplayer game and friend 2 opens the steam friend list --> right click on friend 1 --> join game
you both should better be in status "online" to get all informations to join the game
