here's a funny story: I was playing this and got to the trap part, I decided to put away the first turret on the lift. After that it went up, I hoped it survived (as I'm a turret pacifist) and to my surprise, it was still there after I escaped. I decided to leave it be and I attached the rick core and everything, but not moving it came back to bite me, because turns out turrets are immune to fire! He would soft lock me at the bomb section, as whenever I went to the left spot, he'd shoot me down :P

this is just simply amazing, and considering the fact that the multiverse exists in Portal 2, I suppose this could be an alternate universe where wheatley actually prepares and tries to kill you

needs so much more playtesting. the checkpoint don't work btw. eventually I couldn't even noclip out of it. it is a really good idea, but needs more work, it's very broken.

this map kinda sucks. lighting always seems kind of off to me, placement of things is completely unrealistic. i had to cheat to get past the laser part, and through other parts.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I’ll try to fix as many of these as I can! Also, I’m not too sure why the map kicks you out so I’ll have to figure that out. Once again thanks for the feedback! :)

Took me a few tries, but I finally figured out that bomb sequence. I don't think it's actually possible for casual players. You have to be really quick to outrun them. I couldn't get to the fact core, I'm guessing there was supposed to be some conversion gel underneath him? After grabbing him using cheats, and getting the stalemate button, I will admit. That looked pretty cool. I was hoping to go to the moon, but I understand why that didn't happen. Overall, this map was fun, except for the extreme difficulty and needing to go into another map then back into the map to actually load it again, then play it all the way through. Since I like your videos, and this is your second Hammer map, I'll give it a thumbs up.

Anyway, I can't finish writing these. Restarting the map takes too long, Could you update the map to stop disconnecting the player? I'd finish playing if you did that.

Instead of the whole catwalk turning into gibs, there are dedicated broken catwalk models that you can use. Clip out the brush (which for some reason is func_physbox, which can softock you) and align the texture for it. The fire looks pretty cool, but it doesn't really make sense how it just appeared. Also if you're still standing by the plugs, you die and have to reset the entire map. I don't know about Wheatley, but usually I don't look at people while I'm paralysed. I'm sorry for sounding so harsh, after all it is your second map. And this is actually really good for a second map. But these things that are so easy to fix is just a bit irritating.

Don't stretch the white tile textures, and use squarebeam textures on the sides. Box the goo so you don't see the nodraw textures. Textures are chosen badly overall, use a variety of them. Don't just use the big tiles, or just use the small tiles. Again, sphere plugs have instances, stop making them yourself. Sprite for the plugs are huge aswell, and don't really have a light source. Plugs are also sort of clipping in the wall, put one in each tile. Wheatley looks at where you are, instead of the viewcontrol. I don't think there's an input to change what he looks at, so either use a vehicle or teleport the player to where the viewcontrol stops. The turret sequence was quite fun, but don't use cables unless you're in a bts environment with no test chamber textures. Also, the white gel in the tube at the start looked cooler, but you're forgetting it's flowing in a pipe. There should be more gel than that sudden burst. (2/?)

Detail is ok. Exceedingly blue fog is a bit weird, you should also detail the environment outside the playable area. Add more test chambers just out there. I'm sure there is an instance for the potato_ plug, but it doesn't matter. It's just weird to see GLaDOS clipping inside of the plug. The func_doors underneath Wheatley can be opened with +use, turn that off in the flags. You should subtly signal to go to the catwalk, it took me multiple restarts of the map to find it. Wheatley's shields clip into basically everything around Wheatley when he goes up and down. Also, don't load a community autosave, without making an autosave. Space core's default animation should change from the pincher anim to the non-pincher anim, but it's so subtle that it doesn't really matter. When you're held still by clip brushes, maybe add a func_noportalvolume. Because I teleported away, and got softlocked. So I had to resort to noclip. (1/?)

hey! this map is so hard! also every time when boss kills player i had to enter ctrl+alt+delete to proceed, as the game crashes. activating god mode from developer console doesn't work! please, pay attention:steamsad:
