I recently moved webhosts after 15 years, so my current host doesn't have all the same files uploaded anymore.

UPDATE:

The broken textures/images were due to my website receiving a domain name change. The files still existed in their original folders but the URLs that pointed to them were no longer accurate.

I've now rectified this by updating each upload. The current update should now work as intended.

A lot of my workshop submissions died when I changed my website domain name (where I host my stuff). At some point I'll come back and fix these with the current domain. Apologies!

When I was a kid I legit had a board game version of Jumanji, with one of those gimmick red plastic things to read the cards, and I gotta say I miss playing it. I'll admit I kinda get the impression you didn't know there was an actual board game adaptation made (I was hoping to see some of those rhymes that weren't just the movie ones) and the fact that the rhymes weren't always formatted right on the cards bugged me more than it should have tbh. But all in all I loved playing it again, it brought me right back to being a kid, pretending that I was causing a stampede in the living room or flooding the house.

There is an actual Jumanji board game that was released (I have it but I think a couple of pieces are missing, bought 2nd-hand). Will still give this one a try :D

Long story short, I'm not in the habit of reuploading other people's work or "stealing". We may have had the same idea (like the many Monopoly clones), but it was not taken from another Workshop upload.

Hi there Sumuraii, while we may have had the same idea (I had no idea who this Majornougat was till you mentioned it), if you actually check both downloads, neither are the same.

Both use the same reference image from Google for the main board, but mine was modified in Photoshop.

My reworked board was straightened out to fit to a perfect rectangle, I edited out the dice and player pieces from the reference photo (something the other Jumanji did not do), the board has had saturation/brightness and contrast changes, and the hinges and various other pieces were either clone-stamped out, had shine removed, or were cleaned up in general.

If you check the other downloads, not only do they have the pieces still on the board image, but they look slightly lower in contrast to this one.

I also took the time to construct a rule system and attempted to give the movie riddles on my custom cards an in-game purpose, to give the players an action to take.
