Even so, remember that sometimes downloads are bugged when a mod fails to download properly and the only way to make it work is to install it manually with crowbar or simply downloading it from a page or clear the mod's cache or wait a long time and try again

The conflict may also be something related to the mission files. Do you have any mod that makes exclusive skins for l4d1 or l4d2?

its confusing, it doesnt conflict with anything, i had another medkit mod and it didnt flag red. the other mod was disabled ofc, but when loaded it was just the default
