Also, the enemy's 0.1x drop penalty can be completely circumvented by claiming the wreckage and then transfering the cargo, you get 100% of the increased stacks. This seems impossible to fix, I'll just avoid doing it myself.

Same issue. Tried making ship modifcations in blueprint mode and I'm losing almost all my resources when it deletes and rebuilds my storages.
Loading error with the version is nothing special if other bugs occur I will fix them .... the actual mod developer will not develop this mod further
except that I will implement this native in my mod
I have been using the original with no issues...
the problem is now under "known issues
the problem is if i change the drop rate it will also change what enemy ships drop and since they are always spawned with max stack size it would destroy the games balance because you are getting pelted with stuff
