In description, you said "Weight" but trying to be rude or anything but that is wrong. That is the ship's mass. If you want to find weight you want to multiply the mass by the constant acceleration of gravity which can vary depending on the mass of the object but if you want it's weight on earth just multiply it by 9.8 m/s^2. But anyways

The bugs are simple to fix
First of all, the camera switches back to first person because the game renders something blocking the camera, forcing a switch. That's not an actual bug, it makes perfect sense and I doubt the devs will fix it, and personally I don't think they should.
Secondly, adding more gyroscopes, especially in the center of mass, should make the ship far more maneuverable and stable while flying
