Good level! I especially emjoyed the added surprise of the Alien Grunts - they usually only appear with better weapons. Well done!

Awesome map, worthy of being in the original game. Hell, I'd happily add it to the Offices chapter before take the elevator down.

I cant say no because its a reuse of bm assets anyway haha, and even though i always let people use my stuff so yess of course you can :), i included the vmf in the vpk, also be sure you dont miss anything theres alot of stuff related to it that all work together

you did good on the overall office experience. also the couple music drop ins were nice.
for my taste the amout of combat was too much, not that it was hard, just too much.

Nice map overall. Great atmosphere and good combat. It was a bit linear for me. Add a few twist and turns and maybe a couple of good puzzles to get it to the next level

yeah well i thought the suggestion was good enough and i had time for it. But yeah it feels a bit more realistic that you can break thoses glasses now, also you can unlock the door from the inside when you break into a room (not all of them just thoses with the open window lid.. and idk i think so i never really noticed because it get pitch dark, but thats an easy fix, thanks.

you know adding breakable glass for me was more of an aesthetic reason but now that i replayed it. glass breaking has a bit of gameplay difference for the better. thanks for adding it. also it may just be me but does the lever to turn the power off clips into the wall instead of away?

Oh sorry got confused with all the text in here, and no it wasnt a joke some of them were rendering weirdly, but after compiling it back it was back to normal like it was, that can happen sometimes since source is old, glad only a new compile was abble to fix it.

great work map was unplayable because of that typo. even though it was at the end of the map and the last thing you could see. made it unplayable.

Well i was fast cause i had time today xd but i did update it (small patch) Now all the windows that arent bullet proof can be broken (its also possible to get into some of thoses office that dosent have the lid fully on) Also fixed some small decals that werent showing ingame.

I think he thought this map was during the resonance cascade, wich is not the player wake up moment after that, or maybe he meant something else idk haha or sarcarsm like you said who knows lol. Yeah i was not sure at first to get breakable windows so i did them all like this, but maybe i could make some of them breakable eventually. Thanks

When creating labs try to be creative and have sci-fi elements to it. like give a nod to Roswell and have a alien spaceship in a tank of water.

Also forgot to say but you did an incredible job showing a disaster like scenario. I don't even understand what that one dude was talking about. perhaps it was sarcasm. oh and in the future make unbreakable glass into the one that has like squares in it so players know this is unbreakable glass. Unless it breaks the map. I got confused as to why the black mesa facility would purchased large amounts of bullet proof glass for an office space. loved the little things you put in the individual office rooms like the houndeye looking at the tv.

i wanted to say its mostly because this map goes trough one level of the office section, so thats why it feels this way you dont have acess to other zone in that part, also its because i was going to the fact that black-mesa is mostly an underground facility and not a building, this is the level A of the office so yeah this map was mean to be located in one level only.

But yeah i get what you mean, i actually make my maps with more height and all now. This one was a map from last year that i lost motivation on because of a bug issues i was having. But yeah your right its fine, i more listen to critism then i ever did now. Thanks alot man i appreciate it. For part two i will def listen to what you said, with more section such as labs and etc.

you dont have to update the map. but do take the critics to heart for other maps you work on. this map is like a time capsule in a way. its fine the way it is and most importantly fun.

pleasantly surprising map. I for one think that working on multiple projects helps with burn out When i think that i'm burning out on one project i work on another. I loved the intro to the map with the player waking up. I love it when mappers make the hand dryers functional 10/10 for that. found a door that had sound that i would never have believed someone would add sound to, the ones without the handle that kind, so 100/10 for that detail. Criticisms are that the map feels too repetitive. its all office space then office space and oh look more office space. i would add a few more areas. like an area for maintenance, a lobby type area, some labs, and variations of height and width in areas. so it feels like I'm actually progressing through a building and not stuck in office space backrooms.

This was something i was working on before vicarious reality lol, just the map broke and i just decided to fix it this week and finish it, yeah im still working on vicarious (but id say also like im a guy that work on multiple project at a time, im like that)

Now to answer Ysubby, thanks i apprecite it, well i think i can arrange that in a small update eventually. thanks for your feedback.

The map is good, but there is not enough atmosphere of the disaster, for example dark areas or a falling ceiling and so 9/10. Waiting for part 2 :)

The time you spend on creating maps like this, you could spend on Vicarious Reality, which is progressing?
