mod is "updated" (copied base file into mod and added my logic to prevent the civil war)
Check it out and report any errors you find

You'd need to look through the files yourself, sorry.
Iirc I had only changed that the civil war event doesn't fire, not the event itself.

I want to trigger the civil war, do you know the event id that whows you those decisions that start the civil war?

I often get civil war in italy when invading as Germany in 1937-8. its usually right after i take venice and the northern mountains.

could you specify what the exact problem is?
Afaik a scenario like yours should be impossible if the civil war is caused by the Balance of Power mechanic.

Still occasionally getting civil wars in Italy with this on and enabled in game settings. IM LOSING MY MIND

I like this because without it you have the supremely stupid situation in which losing literally any core territory causes the civil war. I wish they had made it state-specific to the real-life Italian heartlands, not cores.
