Launch your Garry's Mod, in main menu look at the bottom of your screen, right corner. Here you can see an icon containing a gamepad and "Games" inscription. Left click mouse on it and then find your half-life 2 episode one in the context menu and pick it. Notice: you must have your hl2ep1 installed on hard drive in order to pick it

For those people who has got that wierd shiny props: open a console, then type "mat_specular 0". This will fix this issue which probably caused by HDR lighting creation during the compilation. Thanks for feedback
