It would be awesome if someone made a patch for this that adjusted things like invincible aspiring champions with artillery pistols... So this could actually be fun to play as, or against....

I had a conflict with Hoover's reskin of pretty much all units. Had giant triangles coming out of the models. his mod is called "Hooveric Reskin (HV Reskin)" Tried having this mod load last but they are incompatible. Works great now no issues with hoover disabled.

I love that the units are not nerfed. as author said, most if not all hybrid units are unused because they are so nerfed down. It seems crazy to me that a unit can't be good at 2 things. A bullet is unaffected by the skill, armor or melee weapon on its user.

You do you, pop the mod open with a Pack file editor and tweak it to your liking. If it was to be CA level balanced then they would have to be reduced to 50 models or something like they did with Ironsides.

I never said remove melee capabilities lol I said the opposite I said they should have weaker ranged abilities. This turns turns undivided from a faction with almost no ranged units, into the best ranged faction in the game lol. In my personal opinion this mod would be a lot better if these units had their range increased quite a bit as they have a max range more comparable to shotguns than rifles at the moment, and the damage was reduced SIGNIFICANTLY. I mean your acting like their isn't competent ranged units in the game already, giving them the same stats as handgunners while maintaining the fighting skills of a chaos warrior would already be overpowered, but it would at least make sense and be manageable when fighting them. regardless as I already said I still like the mod, it's the only mod that gives chaos guns. I just limit myself on the number of OP units like Chaos Knights and Aspiring Champions I bring per army and it is still challenging.

@DocHolliday hey, they are chaos warriors, i am not going to take their melee prowess away, if you want to shoot and fight, go on, I mean if they would be punks like the hybrid units are that would be not my cup of tea,

Regardless I still think the mod is cool, I just have to intentionally handicap my armies by limiting how many of certain units I bring. So nice work all the same!

@Pwner My guy how can you possibly consider being stronger than EVERY other faction in the game by turn 10 to be more fun than at least a modicum of balance?????

@Kasig yeah that mod is cool but also far too immersion breaking for me. Guns of the Empire at least tries to maintain the Warhammer theme. The MW guys just copied WWI German military models into the game.

@DocHolliday heyy, it's more for fun than serious balance, and reason both Daemonspew and Mirrorguard can use guns was because they've been in the roster since ever and can be recruited for undivided fations.

With all do respect as I love the idea this mod has, these are all grossly overpowered... I downloaded the guns of the empire mod which is known for it's op ranged units and none of those units could even come close to these. Not really sure why you felt the need to turn chaos undivided into the best ranged faction in existence with Necron level technology. But just about every unit this affects could use a significant reduction on ranged stats. Also the Mirror Guard aren't undivided so I don't understand why that is the only unit from Slaanesh or otherwise affected by this mod.

I really wish the aspiring champions would get toned down a bit... They have 245 range..... and they can one shot tier 3+ infantry units with 110+ armor...

Any chance for a change where they can fire while moving? Its great for pistol units since they are firing pistols while charging and chasing.

Seems to work well as of 2 22 25. did a skirmish and found it only added to the units. Yoiu can use them exactly the same as normal by switching to melee mode. So it only adds on in an interesting way.

Biggest problem is recruitments for chaos warriors, you are going to have to reverse engineer Levy Recruitment mod for it.

Well me an my uncle have been playing withe the Guns of the Empire mod and Derpys units for the Dwarves so I was looking to kinda up arm some of the other factions so they can stand on equal footing. This mod kinda goes along those lines.

Instead of overwriting the existing units, I wanted to use your templates to make them their own unique units to add on to the existing chaos factions.
