Is it possible to make the bags of salt and pepper work the same way as the bags of yeast? Currently you cannot use bulk bags of salt in cooking like for making bread or jarring which are the main uses for salt. Recipe expects a salt shaker. Opening a bag of salt and getting salt shakers equivalent would make the bulk salt compatible with many more recipes. Sugar as well.

I took a look at the files it seems that it is supposed to be used, but something must have busted in an update.

@kelenas_sarkeen Thank you for your suggestion, I also agree with that, but recently i'm little bit busy(lot more busy than i thought) in IRL and B42 is still unstable, so need to wait until PZ Devs do their job done.

The mod seems like a good idea, but maybe re-work the distribution a bit? Right now it seems like a lot of the pasta, flour, dried beans/lentils/etc often found in houses is replaced by bags of sugar, salt, and the like, which is rather weird, and possibly even detrimental to the player.

So, toss it in a cabinet? But if the days until stale is less than 4, or 3, don't bother?

Is the food supposed to go stale during the 3-4 drying days? Can I dry it in the Freezer/Refrigerator?

How do you dry the fish? It says leave it out to dry but it got rotten first before drying.

Turns out it was something to do with the Bug Bars mod and how an update for that interacted with other mods, but only when certain other mods were also activated.

@TheMole132231 I don't know how to re-produce error that you're currently suffer with. if you using other mods, i just can say test one by one. it might be a another mod can cause the mod conflict. only i know can cause conflict mods are sprout farming(that also add dried fruit), snake's modpack (le gourmet revolution, add some jams), and other mod adding similar item like dried foodies.

I've re-subbed all the mods I have, still no change.

@TheMole132231 and i recommend re-sub both mod, it might be help some scripts error. Steam Workshop's update are little bit inefficient.

@TheMole132231 I just check you mentioned. but i can't found any errors or conflict. fruit, fishes, meats recipes are all OK. and also checked function with sapph's cooking. furthermore this mod's item scripts are quite different compare with sapph's cooking, most item mods using item code like 'Base.xxxx(include Big size Spices mod)', but sapph's cooking mod using 'SapphCooking.XXX' so it cannot conflict with other mods. However, icon, texture, recipe names can be conflict. but this time it hard to cause error, because sapph's cooking don't have dried food related stuff. anyway if you still suffer with conflict i recommend disable Dried Food addon.

I'm using Project Zomboid stable build (41.78.7) the more recent update may have altered something.
Either way, slicing fruit/etc has disappeared for most foods.

@TheMole132131 That's weird. I also using sapph's cooking with my mods(all 3 addons). And this mod don't affect Lua & other function. It just using PZ vanilla functions.

Slicing food for drying and making jams seem to conflict with Saph's cooking mod, as in the options to dry/jam disappear. Maybe more conflicts, I'll share them if they seem to pop up.

Hey so is there any chance we'll be able to disable certain food items? like canned colas and dried berries. I already have more in depth mods for those and they mess up the spawn rates. Cheers! Great mod btw

Love the mod but why does chocolate bar give unhappiness? That is not very immersive

Found a bug with the dried food, you can slice rotten fruit and they will instantly dry and become edible, makes the field warehouses literally an infinite food glitch. Maybe consider making rotten food not slice-able? xD

Why is there a huge matress that i can do nothing with not even sleep on
