@dichebach: Unfortunately not. I extracted however his JA2 Sound files and will change the format so the engine can accept it, then convert and import the sound files in JA3 and then type all the texts so I can connect the Text IDs to the sound files after. This way he will be fully voiced after that and won't rely on the npc in game speech anymore. :)
It will take a while though because I have A LOT of sound files to work with for several mercs and it takes a couple of days to finish per merc next to the job and family.

Is it not possible to use the old JA2.1.13 files for all these old Mercs + a Machine Learning algorithm to generate as many voice lines as one could possibley want?

the "Mentor A M.E.R.C Mod" is just a modified of the mod with the animals a other creator created prior to the patch which is a part of the AIM page actually and not a extra website.
That means that the guy that created it can include others peoples created mercs (like mine) by just adding them there.
I would like to explore the mod tools further after I finished all my mercs and create a stand alone M.E.R.C. side with Speck T included instead. :)

@Dumeka, hi and thank you for bringing back the missing mercs. Will you bring up a version of your M.E.R.C. personal that is compatible with the "Mentor A M.E.R.C" mod?

Yeah, we need to wait for proper modding tools. They promised them in the Developer Diary about modding. They plan to release them together with 2 major updates for this game. I hope that we will get all modding tools this year.

Will see what I can do with the others. Some will be difficult without importing new model pieces and the mod tools are a bit limited right now (probably more functions will come after they are officially released).

A shame, that Pops is dead...BUT maybe he had a forgotten younger brother, also 80+ grumpy WW2 veteran called "Peps" that is still alive? Imagine a merc with only 4 AP available every turn ;)
Pops had 14/100 agility and 4/100 dexterity in JA1 haha

Oddball it's a mod. your scenario only happens if someone chooses to hire him early on. I say just put a disclaimer in the description for new players.

Even it is a good idea, it would limit the people that explore all the other areas first and go to him very late in the game. :(

No they won't. After you finished Biffs quest, he leaves. So if you hire him AFTER this quest you can do as if you hire him from AIM to help you further. :) Unless of course if you hire him at the beginning cause then you will definately meet him and be like twins.

Made Biff a recruitable AIM Merc you can hire from the AIM Website!
He is under the section Veterans, has parts of his Bio from JA and parts from JA2 and is fully playable as a hired merc.
He doesn't answer with a voice when you call him from the AIM site,
