@jaxchambliss2014: Well if you have not tested it yet the Ascended Sword Master mod it quite similar to the Shard Summoner, but with swords :p And a bunch of different patterns ;)

@Leonix: Once you open the mod options, go to the tab where you can change key bindings and there will be a on/off button you can uncheck to only use melt powers when the tool is selected. This is disabled by default though so you should not have it always active unless you changed that option yourself earlier... Either that or I changed the default setting at some point and I forgot X)

Maybe I dumb, but how tf do I disable melting without the melter tool (the hand)?! :D I really don't want to melt everything with anything in my hand... xD

@bigweld: Yeah I believe the size of a car is where the slowdown starts to be noticeable, yet it should not freeze completely at this point. Smaller things like a crate or a tire should melt with almost no lag and larger things like a whole roof of a building will lag no matter how good is your PC...

@geneosis yeah it still lags a ton. it could either be a performance bug or the 65 mods i have enabled

@bigweld: Oh yeah if you tried to speed up the process by incteasing some of the settings, that may explain why it froze even faster (not sure if it's supposed to crash, but if you click the game too much while it's forzen, windows will probably kill it, resulting into a crash). Does it still happen if you reset the mod settings to default?

@Geneosis I just used it on a little forklift. it might have something i did to the settings tho

@bigweld: This mod should not crash, it may freeze if you try to use it on an incredibly large object but it should recover if you release the melt button and let your PC the time to compute the changes. What object did you try to use it on?

@MATT12325: What do you mean by that? If you mean some voxels end up in a weird position or floating around, then that's to be expected: the melted object is still considered a single solid block, no matter how twisted of a shape it becomes.

Some times when i use it things just get glitch.

@mr fish: What freezes? The object melted or the whole game? If it's the whole game, then try using it on smaller objects, the processing from this mods gets slower and slower the larger the object is (there is not much that can be done about it sadly).

i like how you can glue things together. Like in the gen zero part, when he melted the foot to the ground, that's just too cool.
