This mod is probably pretty tough for Multiplayer games. Well, I released another mod that can help reduce the events, because it will give you a free Doom Disruptor when it gives you the Battle Beacon flags.
@Cyber, If you want to check it out, its called Battle Break ⬆️ The description above has a link to it.

Not sure if balanced for multiplayer but I think the events are per player so we get double or triple the amount of portals spawning in the world when events happen. Perhaps a longer cooldown for events? There's so many notifications and enemies/portals. The doom events (portals/enemies/blight) could be delayed by a few in game days to not disrupt starting gameplay however I understand the mod is intended to be a challenging experience. Doomstorm weather should have a notification similar to the shooting star event as a heads up and possibly a lower chance to appear as it seems to happen every 3 or 4 days.

I will say that this was tested using Very Hard difficulty mod (was impossible with doom beasts attacking starting day 2) as well with the Insanity mod where the scaling may not affect the doom enemies but still testing with that mod. Despite everything its a cool mod and I like the new enemy variety and it forces you to play less passively.

Thank for the feedback @Antendo123. I may make some adjustments to things, can't promise anything for sure. Perhaps its the sparkle effect that happens during crop blight on many large farm zones that causes some lag, so perhaps I can rework it to not show any particle effect.

#4 The doomstone Cube trader was a very interesting way to make use of the constant attacks of doom beasts and the sorts though from the 3-4 Doomstone cube Traders i got. all of them seemed to only be offering the same two items being 1. a squid servant that helps with construction and mining, and 2. a crossbow for the archer class. perhaps i didnt get to see enough of the trader as i did have to stop playing the game due to Blight really hitting the performance after the 3 or so hour mark but the trader item pool could perhaps be expanded upon.

TLDR: Overall an amazing concept of a mod which definitely adds a lot of challlenge to the game but one that i personally wouldnt recommend using as of right now especially for performance reasons with blight being so Heavy.

#3 Even though the corruption of crops with blight is a creative idea on paper, i felt that it brought unnecessary restrictions and frustration into the game. as now with a blight happening around what felt like about every 7 - 15 minutes destroying roughly 35% of your crops completely it kind of just forces you to use a trapper instead. in addition to that, Blight is absolutely terrible for the performance of the game and creates immense performance issues even when playing in a multiplayer session of only 2 people. It would be nice if this feature could be voluntarily turned off by the player.

After playing with this mod alongside a couple others for a few hours i do have some things to say about it.

#1 the raiding doom beasts that spawn really spice up the enemy variety and makes things a good bit more interesting although their spawn locations could perhaps be changed to have them spawn just a bit further away as i sometimes had some spawning right inside my town near the hearth

#2 The Tentacle Trap is a very creative idea and certainly was surprising when encountering the first time but after a while it became just a bit annoying fighting them off as not even inside the heart your town would your hearthlings be safe from them, perhaps this could be changed to have them not attack near light sources?

Its supposed to make things more challenging, but its pretty random which events can occur. If it seems too difficult, then you can try again with a Reembark group having advanced jobs and gear already.
I did a playthrough in Normal mode, and using Vanilla SH, up until the Orc wars started, and it was good. Kept me busy moving the troops around, and I tried to always craft the best gear for their level, having Clerics healing, and using buff potions sometimes as well.

Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like an amazing concept! Great work my guy!
