I'm definitely going to built this as a new base on a new planet. Personally, i think its a good starter one. yes, adding a wind turbine is a must in my opinion. in the screenshot, you can see 4 solar panel. I would change it for advanced rotors so you can plug 4 oxygen farm since I love to use the "Survival Less Likely by Splitsie" mod which murders oygen like theres no tomorrow.

one very big issue here is the connector location. 99.99% of all vehicles i use cant connect without either blocking the nearby stairs or just unable to connect at all. Id suggest editing the location but that's just me.

@"Total Pipec" Solars count as translucent to light, despite casting a shadow. Having double layered solars means both cells(front and back) give max power, allowing the starter base to have an energy source that is both cheap and powerful due to the CTC always keeping solars at full power until sundown.
