it would be possible using the MinimAPI mod but I wanted to make this mod more vanilla

alright so when I first saw the mod and downloaded it I thought "man this sucks its garbo" and then proceeds to undownload it. Im back after 2 months later and MAN this is a WONDERFUL help!! it makes it easier for hush and boss rush and if I ever used a R key! you are a saving GRACE! however may I suggest possible making the path to the boss room like a different colour? If I have treasure map and my dumbass decides to take the longer path to the boss im screw so, yeah that option would be helpfull! Kind regards Big Macc

you can open the mods folder and withing the boss map folder edit the itempools.xml that's in the content folder and remove the beggar pool entry

Is there a way to remove it from the beggar item pool?

gonna be honest i saw this one on reddit and wasnt impressed because i thought it was just a worse the compass, but after reading its effects im more interested. the fact that it reveals the secret room and delirium gives it additional use that the compass doesnt have.

it would be possible using the MiniMAPI mod, but I preferred this mod to be vanilla as possible without needing other mods

maybe you could make it so it colors the path to the boss in a different color so it's useful with the treasure map? idk anything about tboi modding so it might not be possible but it'd be nice
