are you the same person who made the Realistic Graphics Mod [LITE VERSION]? bc i had that one previously installed but then it got removed and i cant load my game at all. Idk if this is an issue that is just part of the game and/or if someone else would know and if so i apologize.

There is something wrong with this mod at the present. Sometimes the sky box disappears and is replaced by, well, what can only be described as a crazy pink skybox. The sky goes pink and makes all the reflections on my truck glow pink as well. I have seen it twice now. Once when I slept and when the world loaded back in the sky was all pink. I had to skip time and sleep to get rid of it. The 2nd time was just now whilst driving. The weather changed and so did the skybox but it changed to the pink one again. I have tried to save and quit and reload but all that did was make it more pink. I suppose I'm stuck with it until the weather changes again.

skyboxes look bad after the update they all really low resoloution, even worse than vanilla

@luudaigiang the author of Weather 3.2 gave me permission to use his skyboxes.

The water surface doesn’t look realistic at all, and the lighting seems off, it actually looks worse than the vanilla lighting. It feels like you’ve taken elements from several popular mods, like “Weather 3.3,” Grime’s graphics mods, and “Realistic Brutal Weather by Kass,” and combined them all together. The result is kind of a mess.

question: why is there 2 GB size difference between the ultimate and this mod, if the only difference is realistic sunrise/sunset times?

@trainguy_modding I think you may have misunderstood. I didn't use both mods together, only the ultimate version alone without any other graphics or weather mods installed. What I was saying in my previous post is that my comments are in the wrong place. I should have probably made this comment under the Ultimate mod, because that is the one I was using. Sorry for the confusion if I didn't explain myself clearly.

@miker107 this is not meant to use with the Ultimate version, might be why your experiencing issues.

@trainguy_modding Good morning, I have a Corsair Vengeance, running Windows 11 Pro, 12 Gen Intel Core i9, 32 G ram, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. All in game settings maxed out and game looks good graphically. By the way, I think i placed this under comment under the wrong mod, it was the ultimate version was using, but it probably doesn't really matter. LOL Over all, I thought everything was looking pretty good. Road textures and weather looked nice, just couldn't get past the way the trees looked.

@miker107 What's your pc set up?

Like reachtrucker's comment below, I have experienced a strange shimmering / flickering, particularly in certain trees. Overall, most everything looked pretty nice, but some trees had a smudgy flickering consistency and some trees had few leaves on them that seem to float in thin air and not connected to any branches. It was off putting enough that I had to remove it. I don't have any other graphics or weather type mods running, so I do not think it was conflicting with anything. Trees returned to normal after deactivating mod.

i now used this mod, but the shimmering/flickering on objects and roadsigns, billboards i already had it just got worst with this mod! how?

@mister.hister Can you DM me a screenshot of the road issue you are having?

@mister.hister I don't experience any fps drops during rain so check if it's caused by using it with Sommer mod or some other graphic mod. Water spray was way worse before and I believe trainguy is still working on this. I also think it's still to excessive and should be reduced possibly by up to 50%

A deal breaker - when it is raining I get fps drops and stutters, something that doesn't happen with the vanilla or other weather mods. That happens while GPU is less then 80% utilized.

P.S. I have a screenshot saved of the road textures problem at Huron.

One issue - road textures are on some spots not working correct when it is raining. One such case is below Huron, there is a farm there in the Southern part of the town which has this problem for example but I have seen a few more cases.

And a visually functional thing that is a feature but looks bad - water spray from cars is too excessive, it should be way more sublime.

Having the Summer mod above yours works. Will try without the summer mod to see how your bare mod looks like/works. Am enjoying it so far. Thank you.

OK, will try if it works. Also, can a physics mod be used above your mod or would it skew the intended result.
