@Darkmind: What command are you talking about? Sorry not following exactly. Also are you using other mods that can effect ore spawns besides this one? Because if you are then those can conflict with this one. If for example you have this mod in the list, then another mod effecting ores after it that doesn't recognize the new ores and also effects the spawn maps, that final mod will be the one the game goes with. If the issue you're having isn't that the ores aren't wanting to spawn properly on planets and stuff then please elaborate more.

@LilithBytes: were you ever able to get your issue sorted? If not you can still send me that log and I will look at it. If you got it sorted that's even better.

@LilithBytes: in that case then, send me a copy of your error/crash log so I can see what it's doing and what it's referencing in the files. you can send it to me here via steam chat, or you can send it to me on discord. my name over there is darkbladejk. If you see the one with the mars pyramid that's me. just tell me it's from Lillith on steam when you do. Once I can see what it's doing I can try to get a fix out if it's something on my end or hopefully be able to tell you what you need to do.

i use industrial overhaul deep ores + oil everywhere, and several other mods that add many other ores
captainbladej52  [author] 29 Mar @ 6:49pm
@LilithBytes: are you using any other mods that could effect ores or their distributions such as Deep Ores? Send me the error log either here or on discord. discord name is darkbladejk. If you send it on discord the profile with the mars pyramid is me. if you send it over discord just tell me in the message "this is lilith from steam" or something so I know it's you.

they're together in the load order, the base mod is above this one

Yes.

@LilithBytes: Have you also enabled the baseline 2125 era mod to go along with it? Because this mod won't work if you're not also using the baseline mod at the same time. Reason being is this mod references resources that are found in the baseline mod. This mod is a companion/expansion to the base 2125 Era Mod. In the baseline mod the custom 2125 ores are only found asteroids with the exception of Lead. This was because at the time I didn't yet know how to do dedicated ore veins on planets. Once I learned I made this as a companion mod so as not to disrupt already existing worlds and let people decide for themselves if they wanted the custom ores along with plat and uranium to be available on planets or not. Because the "resource not found" tells me you likely do not have the required baseline mod enabled and it's calling for something it can't find.

this mod is throwing so many errors i can't even paste them all here, i'll send a few of them so you can fix it;

No problem thanks for the response

@DragonBird: I can look into making one purely for vanilla ores but I'm not going to promise anything. Right now I'm gearing up for the new Contact update and will be able to check into a vanilla ore thing after I get done with updates post Contact.
DragonBird 10 Oct, 2024 @ 5:17pm
You're correct in saying that . I was referring to the addiction to just vanilla ores.
captainbladej52  [author] 10 Oct, 2024 @ 1:20am
@DragonBird: for this particular mod we're talking on here, that's not possible because of how it's setup. Specifically integrating the 2125 ores into it. Truth be told the main reason this particular mod exists and wasn't stuck in the main 2125 mod was because I didn't want to majorly disrupt existing worlds already using the main mod when I learned how to add ores to planets and such.

Now with that said, depending on what you're wanting I can look at doing a separate mod that just uses the vanilla ores and such.

Hi there! I was wondering if it's possible to play without the Space Engineers 2125 mod that introduces new weapons. I'm only interested in the ore generation feature.
captainbladej52  [author] 18 Dec, 2023 @ 8:37am
@ECYsh364: Anytime I use the 2125 tag on something of mine you can assume it's related to the 2125 Era Mod unless I note otherwise in the description. This mod itself also has the dependency of the 2125 mod listed. Aside from 1 or 2 convenience type items on occasion or something I want to plink about with, I typically don't use outside mods.
Ecy 18 Dec, 2023 @ 6:39am
me neither, at first i thought it was something made as a joke or a challenge or even straight up stealing ores from every mod on se workshop, but nope
captainbladej52  [author] 18 Dec, 2023 @ 3:03am
As for adding 2125 ore types, I couldn't even fathom having thousands of elements in a game world. It was annoying enough to get the slots to work with what I did here, having thousands extra would just be insane.
captainbladej52  [author] 18 Dec, 2023 @ 3:03am
@ECYsh364: It does two things as outlined in the description above. It adds Platinum and Uranium to moons and planets that didn't have them, or previously had them removed. And also adds the custom ores from the 2125 mod to planets and moons as well. I made this a stand-alone thing instead of coupling it into the 2125 era mod so it wouldn't massively disrupt already existing worlds, and because not everyone would like the balance of ores or having everything available on planets and not needing to go into space for certain things. If they want the 2125 era ores planetside they can sub to this too. I never agreed with removing uranium from planets years ago and believe going into space should always have been an optional thing, thus the ore distributions here allow for that style of play.
Ecy 18 Dec, 2023 @ 12:26am
I thought it added 2125 ores, not ores for 2125 era mod
