I made these characters in an attempt to deny it could ever be me...But it was me.
I still love this addon. It's like walking through my mentally ill mind and seeing how my personalities clash. I only wish I could have polished it more and made it more unique than being a half life experience...
clinicofdreams.vmap (Continuation of the second map in mbid.)
gm_adventurers.vmap (literally recreated the adventures club map from gmod, yes)
painandcats.vmap (The craziest map, I love it)
I should still find a way to release these individually at least because I still feel like even though the story isn't there, the maps are still interesting and feel worth it to show people. Some locations I made are based off of actual dreams I had as a kid and they feel spot on to the feeling of the dream.
If I do manage to release them, don't play them expecting completely polished experiences. Play them expecting to see bits and pieces of a scrapped idea.
Funny though, the main story was meant to be a decent into madness and insanity. Which turned out to be my experience trying to create it.
This is a damn good map, so good job on it! I can't wait for part II
I played it last night and it genuinely scared me - Ventface I hate you.
Amazing work on the custom props and the whole environment.

Now we're talking! Looking forward to my first in-game heart attack :D
But what REALLY got me was running into ventface the first couple times, I was not expecting something like that. The gameplay mechanic of not being allowed to stare at it was unsettling as hell, it definitely invoked some kind of primal fear of the unknown. There was a part where I exited the vent, felt a sense of relief, then realised I'd have to go back in.. it made me legitimately anxious and it didn't help that the vent was making demonic noises lol
I'm a fan of unique gameplay mechanics in HLA mods and I think you really nailed it here.
Also enjoyed playing as a combine and the unique gameplay elements, TBH I don't really think I disliked anything about this map.

After really examining the work that went into this. I've rated it a 10/10. Enjoy, everyone!
