How do i enter the catacomb? it require a tool but which one?

Thanks for the help, I'm bad at figuring out the cryptic instructions in the apostle legacies and usually need the wiki, part of me was worried I wouldn't be able to progress

@SavagegameX If you already got Mrs.Green to help you, then being unable to summon Alma won't softlock you. It would if you did it before, but since you got the looking glass, I assume that's not the case. Hint 1: There is a book among the Evening Isles which will direct you towards the remaining blessings. Alma probably told you something about that. Hint 2: For the Madrugad, you want to reanimate corpses and give them a new purpose by using one of your tools. Hint 3: For the Sun-in-Rags, you want to use a great influence and the aid of one of his servants to transform a follower into an immovable essence. Direct answer: Show the looking glass to a bunch of shattered risen. Use a 15 winter influence with a follower and then use the result in a rite with a maid-in-the-mirror and the Division of the Names.

I've quite enjoyed playing this mod, but I've hit a bit of a barrier and have no clue how to proceed:

I have the looking glass and the painful trophy, but have no clue where I get the other two blessings. I managed to get the neobatrachian formula and summoned alma but I don't know what to talk to her with (I used rite intercalate and no longer have the formula itself, has this screwed me over?)

Very little. I havent made efforts to make it compatible with other mods.

How compatible is this mod with other mods now?

@Whorientalism Thank you for the feedback! To be honest, the mod has some major lore inconsistencies, especially after the release of Book of Hours (This was first written before we knew anything about Rowena aside from her name). I also wasn't as deeply knowledgeable about the lore at the time I wrote the mod, but I certainly tried my best. I thought of deleting it from the workshop a few times, but it's comments like yours that make me keep it up. Also, yeah, english is not my first language and that a big part of why I haven't tried something like this again. I do think some of the gameplay mechanics ended up being a lot of fun such as the crowd of dead part though.

To answer your question:
The idea of them being separated twice is that first the scholar ascended to namehood, entering the Mansus corporeally, separating them, and then later Mrs. Green committed the crime of the sky, severing their connection permanently.

Things I loved:
- I was SO scared of not being able to meet the lore requirements for the wounded mirrors vault. Excellent use of incomplete information to create player anxiety.
- I really commend the choice to never really tell us what was going on with Mrs. Green's Key-holding Ligeian status. I'm obsessed.
- I really like that Alma is a Beachcrow initiate with no other connection to the plot than "knows where the secrets are hidden". It made me feel like the PC is the actual agent of the plot, and if you were going to change it, the only thing I'd suggest is having some of the in-game texts articulate more of the "better that you have the opportunity to do this thing even if it's not what I would choose" ideology (if I read it correctly).

Question:
- What was up with the separation between the student and the practitioner being after the commission of the Crime of the Sky? Is your reading that Long can become, IDK, double alukite?

A delicious and well-executed mod! I appreciate the way you've woven together threads of Secret Histories lore to create the steps for this ascension; realizing what you were building up to was amazing.

Suggestions:
- Using the word "employer" instead of "boss" would feel more period-appropriate.
- I would've really liked to see a note from the new enemy attempting to dissuade me from this ascension path, as with the other enemy Long!
- Make the job pay less! Make it worse and harder! :P

I think my only real disappointment with the mod is that it didn't feel like the "you work as a maid" or the "craves worship" aspects were thoroughly interlaced with the gameplay -- which is mostly just me being spoiled for choice with the Weather Factory DLCs; you absolutely made something on par with the base game, and I have utmost respect for your occult scholarship.

coming back to the last comment i left here, i actually meant wildwood club, and actually, children of silence works just as well or even better

any cult works fine, but i would say woodland club is the most effective for this run

I started playing again after getting stuck, I only need to summon the dead, do I need to create a shattered risen and show it the mirror? That's the only thing i could guess that would cover the "frail undead" that the instruccions mention

I'm not sure how to proceed now that I have 6 marks on my ascension card, I've taken the mirror and the eternal stillness to the stag door but I haven't shown the mirror to the frail undead. The last clue, the one that tells you to cause a "great pain to someone", is it refering to the enemy long?

Did you not get Formulae Neobatrachian from a text called "Memories of My Love"? Because that's what you were supposed to get as your next direction.

In which case, what was I supposed to get from the books? Because I've already studied every book from every vault I've gone through, and found nothing that seems like it would be useful for the maid legacy.

Ok, I'm pretty sure I've already explored the exact location (Cave of Candles) the painting is referring to long ago, and got nothing from it that would actually be useful for anything other than some books. What was I supposed to get from it?

Perhaps one might take a look at the painting itself. What does it say? What does it remind you of?

I explored the hospital with my maid position and not a painting of candles, but I don't know what to actually do with it. Talking to Mrs. Green about it yields nothing, same with talking to her about Ascension: Worship. So, I'm stuck as well.

Why is the recipe for upgrading the dedication from Desire 2 shown for both Work and Dream when you can't use it through Dream? I ended up not upgrading it until I had Knock 14 lore because the recipe showed for Dream and wouldn't be usable no matter what level of Knock I slotted in...
