Yeah, I'm not sure, I can't have the addon Unsubbed or it just won't actually work in game. I tested both ways, unsub and resub, just won't work if the steam workshop doesn't have it subbed. Shrug...

Yep, seems pretty straight forward, but there's no sounds. I did the instructions as told. Are you telling me that I HAVE to under any circumstances, I have to unsubb the addon for the sounds to work? If so,then I'll gladly give it another go.

Yeah, I've noticed some parts of guns have absolutely no sound. Great mod either way, but those mute moments kind of ruins the moment.

Excuse me, but I was wondering why my pistol/Glock 17 has no cocking sound? I get the Glock and Gordon inspects it, while cocking the chamber and no sound, but there's sounds while reloading and shooting. Also, the FOV for Default is still zoomed out, it's not originally where the game had it at. I want the mod, but without the wide FOV.

Yes but it's complicated. You need to unpack the Juniez's Classic Weapons Pack with a program called GCFScape. Then you have to delete the "sound" and "scripts" folder, create a new folder in your custom folder and paste the "materials" and "models" folder. And after that make you sure you don't have Juniez's Classic Weapons Pack subscribed.

Juniez's Classic Weapons Pack includes custom sounds itself, which means it's not compatible with other mods which replace sounds.

For some reason I cannot get these sounds to work. I've followed instructions and all my other mods work. Could it be something to do with Juniez's Classic Weapons Pack? Another mod I'm using although it doesn't add sounds.

you need to decompile it with gcfscape or vpk.exe in bin folder. Open weapon_shotgun.dmx with text editor and change anything you want. Moreover, only weapon sound high fov works for all weapon (normal fov doesn't). You can change fov from 90 (default in WPN sound high fov) to 60 in .dmx file or any weapon stats if you want such as shotgun pellet, make glock full auto, ....

A co do strzelby to bardzo mocno zmodyfikowany dźwięk od Magmacow, zmieszany z innymi z różnych gier.

It's good to finally meet some faithful wolfenstein player. Everyone around me knows it just because of the title or because "it's about killing Nazis". Yes. Explosion is from Wolfenstein and Hornet Gun is a mix of Black Mesa default sound and Wolfenstein Laser Cutter sound. Revolver sound was made by Magmacow, but I slightly edited it. I'm Wolfenstein veteran too, I love killing Nazis as a Pole.

Hi, first things first I really like this mod and the sounds that you made, however I noticed something with the shotgun. The shotgun is incredibly powerful, it one shots a armored alien grunt from pretty much any distance. I have no other addons installed and it only occurs when "WPN SOUNDS OVERHAUL V2 HIGH FOV.vpk" is in the custom folder. I am aware that this mod edits the .dmx file for each weapon, is it possible that you could fix this?

An issue I noticed in this pack is it screws with the long jump module, aka the sounds for the long jump module don't work, might wanna look into that

Entropy 2 is fine, I feel like it's a bit weirdly paced. I mean it's not nearly as good as MMod or Hunt Down The Freeman, I mean how can you ever compete with HTDF? I'd say it's canon in the Half Life universe.

I mean the RPG sounds are overall weak in this mod. I adore the other firearm sounds but the RPG is easily one of the weakest and should probably should be beefed up a little more in the sound cat.

Easily the best weapons sound replacement mod so far. My only complaint is the weak RPG explosions, and the vanilla gauss/tau sounds are more than adequate, and should be kept - or maybe even replaced with higher quality versions of HL's tau cannon?

Either way, good job.

Everything is in .dmx script files, which are located in bms_misc_dir.vpk. You'll need a GCFScape tool if you want to open it.
