A few comments below mentioned the tzeentch aspiring champions not being available and I just wanted to say found a solution, albeit quite janky
the buttons for those warband upgrades are hidden behind the changer of ways unit card on the warband menu
undivided aspiring champions can be converted to sword tzeentch aspiring champions, with the button for it being hidden behind the tzaangor unit card. chosen marauders and sword aspiring champions can both be converted by clicking on the changer of ways unit card because the halberd version is hidden behind the changer of ways

It looks alot better and it's a shame that i can only own 1 of this unit;(

Hi all, I ABSOLUTELY love this mod!
However, I cannot recruit/upgrade my Tzeentch Chosens into themed aspiring Champions, and I don't have any options to recruit them from buildings...
I am also using the "More Warband Upgrades for Warriors of Chaos" and "Warband Upgrade Ultimate".
Could you please help me? Does anybody know if these mods are clashing?

@ExtACE if i get around to it i got a few more i could add as far as making it its a little more to it you also reshape and recolor existing objects or you could even add new objects to make them. As far as unit cards go im not great at making them i would have to find someone that could make nice ones or maybe train an ai to make them idk but for now they are permanent.

@madgeneral2019 Thanks for the great mod! Are there plans to increase the variety of champion models? Right now, it's just mixing parts of the models of heroes and lords, right? Unit cards going to stay like this, or is this a temporary option?

I've looked around and Hordes of Chaos Expanded is almost as good and for this mod more compatible and can do fine until someone does make a compatibility patch.

Is there a compatibility mod/patch for the "More Warband Upgrades for Warriors of Chaos" mod as it is they overlap several icons under the monogods' tabs, and the normal warband compatibility mods didn't help,

alternatively a version of this mod that is just the RoR champions, would be amazing as this is easily the best Aspiring Champions mod I've ever found. Thanks for the amazing mod for my favorite Chaos unit.

@madgeneral2019 sure in the base game every unit has an ID which allows one to spawn them in

Example: wh_main_chs_inf_chaos_marauders_0
for Maurauders

was able to add the aspiring champions of nurgle to the cycle buildings, but i am struggling to update them to the summon units pool as they dont show there even if i end turn, if anyone knows how to do it, i would be grateful, i will try to do it on my own today and tomorrow :zomthumbup:

yo, dabbled with the mod a little bit, changed the aspiring champions of khorne recruitment building to the advanced cavalry building, cause its the only level 5 mortal only building and making a unique building feels like too much for a small fun mod, trying to add the aspiring champions of nurgle to the advanced cavalry building cycle too, work in progress, if i actually do it soon i will share what i did if you wanna change it, wish me luck :dealerrizz:

hello, this is a great mod that adds much needed flavor for players that want strong non-deamonic armies, with that being said, any way to remove the unit cap on aspiring champions for nurgle factions? thats my only issue with it tbh

For balance reasons I think the khorne ones might need to be upped +1 turn of recruitment. The unit itself performs as expected from aspiring champions.

i think you'd need to change the building for recruiting champions of khorne, because they're mortal units being recruited from a deamonic building which makes no sense. maybe move them to skull harvester building chain?

For those using "More Warband Upgrades for Warriors of Chaos" you can fix the overlap issue with the UI by using RPFM.

1. Open the pack from your worshop folder, you can find it by typing "asp", in the search bar.
2. Open db -> unit_upgrade_group_ui_infos_tables
3. Change the values of all four tables to be any XY coordinate you want, I've set it to X61 Y315 so it's at the bottom left between marauders and which ever daemon unit of the selected monogod.
4. Save the packfile as a seperately into "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER III\data" folder.
5. In the launcher, unsubscribe to this mod, subscribe to the one you saved.

It's not perfect, there's a weird arrow UI issue, but this is meant to be temporary/quick fix so I can't be bothered to learn the reasoning this issue is happening. Hopefully madgeneral, could find his own approach to this, if not then take upon yourself to do it.

yep it works in turn 2 and upwards thank you for the reply !! i just noticed that when recruiting nurgle great axe units they dont have descriptions on the card like the sword and shield variant (stuff like armored and shielded , poisoned attacks) even though the great axe ones actually do have poison attack in game

@Steve The Bandit just checked the aspiring champions pop up on turn 2 in the recruitment panel and the ror pop up in the correct panel too
