apologizes for the long hiatus - in short, job and life happened
i am setting up a new server for this mod and potentially other mods
grant me sweet release from work
Any idea why the progresstracker hediff might freeze and won't update, after I applied another race threw BigAndSmall framework?
and what is he doing
class update
@Royal Coyote
seriously this shouldn't touch anything related to ce, this should be fine, there no projectile jankery here
If you don't make a mod yourself that is compatible with CE, this framework does nothing
uh sure
sorcerydefs (this framework's def type for abilities) ARE based on vanilla rimworld abilitydefs- so whatever works for an ability/abilitydef should work on these too, in theory
cross your fingers and try it out

i wondering if is possible make so that the varius abilitlies that we can learn leveling, could be use the "vanilla AbilityDef". I'm saying this because Alite devloped some amazing features on his EBSG framework that make possible create complex "thinktreeDef" making raiders become very challenging and tactical using their abilities on specific conditions, but it work with the "vanilla AbilityDef".
getting gaslit by how stats work
UI work (again)
I also intend to make an Isekai-related mod but I need artists haha and a lot of time, because it would be my first one
@Zomuro Thanks for the update!
more UI work and new features upcoming
<powerStatFactors>
<PsychicSensitivity>1</PsychicSensitivity>
</powerStatFactors>
but it doesn't seem to be recognized.
i want die
UI changes implemented and verified HAR compatible
I try to make a mod with it but I am completely new in modding. If I got something to share, I will post it!
here's the neat thing about having stats define your max and minimum energy values- just have an ability that increases the relevant stat.
here's a theoretical example- this ability "Supercharge" will add a temporary hediff, which multiplies the MaxEnergy stat by 1.5x.
if you defined MinEnergy stat = 0 and MaxEnergy = 100, now it goes from 0-150.
this is actually how psychic entropy works in royalty- when you level up, it multiplies the psychic entropy capacity by a factor in the psychic amplifier hediff.
@JoeOwnage
i would
IF THERE WERE ANY
though I will publish the example mod on steam, instead of keeping it on github
Thats why there is a discussion about "Modder Creations" but no one actually posted anything there.
I might take a look into this framework once it is updated, but I don't know a lot about modding xD
Can we adjust the energy bar with an ability? For example I want an ability that can adjust the energy bar, similar to leveling your max mana or mana recharge rate.
I know that you config your energy at first but I don't know if you can adjust it further with an ability.
ui is agony
apologies for the lateness- i wanted to squeeze in a significant update before 1.5
in the near future there is going to be some changes, including the update to 1.5
@Шакал @Akenno
Yes.
I personally don't have any knowledge of modding... But I wanna learn it, if I don't find any modders to do it!
So... Will be there any updates on this for the future? 1.5 support? Would be great to know!
depends on what you mean by passive skills, that just sounds like adding an hediff
