If the police looked like that they wouldn't need force to make me comply!

How does it play with Oppressive Autocracy civic? Does it gives anything else?

@Dirtybob Its done. You can now use this mod with Ethics Bug Branch and exalted state. No patch or such thing required.

Do you think you could make a patch for this to work with Ethics Bug Branch? Specifically, the civic "exalted state" which is an enhanced version of police state. I tried to do it myself, but it's beyond my basic modding skills.
Important Update
Hey, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm changing how you get the Brutal Oppression.
Police State Civic will add a new Policy instead, and you can choose to opt-in and out at any time. But beware, if you go back into the normal Police State, all your Enforcement buildings will convert to normal Precinct houses.

Sadly, if you are already running a game with my mod, the next update will convert all your Response Centers into precinct houses, as the default is the normal Policing.

You can prevent this when you pause the game on startup and directly switch into the Brutal Oppression Law.

@ShadowCookie Well you are right i could do something about it. But i would like to do it thematicly. Maybe i can script it the way that when one of your planets drop below 50 Stability the event triggers.

Ok but why, theoretically a governent that reforms could decide to become oppressive when they werent before, while the reverse can also be true

Yes, it applies a tag to your Country that prevents you from ever choosing this event again.

i took a look and i noticed, that once you say that you don't want to you can never choose to be opressive?
