Yes its intentional. You unlock editing templates after New Reno is defeated. Im aware it can be a challenge but it should be doable if you use the mercenary divisions and prioritize quick expansion instead of grinding warfare.

Is the army template intentionally non-editable? Loved how the yakuza got the love they deserve, but not being able to edit the troops and assign the obrigatory support roles did cost many wars that I waged to be a complete pyrrhic victory, I was so bleeded in manpower that all neighboors was stronger and bigger than me, New Reno declared war and just steamrolled me into a voidout

Sadly thats not possible although you could make them Samurai units once the civil war happens and you swap to the other nation.
Noone I know has that kind of 3D animation skill however

Awesome mod man.Hope in the future devisions will have samurai clothes and suits for the high tier units:)

Worked fine even with other OWB sub-mods on the 7th.
Now on the 8th its broken. Devastated.

Great mod. Tho crashes somewhere in may of 2283. Have no idea if it's something because of OWB or the mod, but I haven't seen such problems with OWB only. Maybe I'm just very unlucky this time, but anyway I think it's better to update to the new version and check if something works wrong.

attempted to play the Isotope Chapter, took quite a few try but finally manage to come up with a solid strategy as to not get demolish before you get your hand on some much needed manpower

the ncr just annexes the isotope guys for free and cant do anything about it, the focus says they should only be annexed if the family guys are on command.

the best merc template (eureka) is a really basic 7/2 division, and you only get a handful of them

Yeah its a challenge but managable, especially if you make use of the mercenary units you can hire.

not being able to edit your shitty division templates really cripples you in fighting new reno, especially with how late in the game it happens. at least give us wakizashi early or something

Sorry for the late reply. It does seem that Power Armor Reworked and Tech Tree Reworked prevent research if you have them enabled. No big deal though, I'm more interested in trying this mod than having those mods.

Yes, but mostly just to keep it updated and functional. I will update it later today for example.

Yes in theory but I'm not a 3D modeller and its difficult to do in hoi4

No there isnt, you would need to manually trigger the civil war for that, I did want to give them more content and maybe add an option for starting. Never got the time for it tho :c
